Cheap, nice call for beginners and intermediates alike
This slate call is absolutely amazing for beginners and sounds like an actual turkey. If you are hesitant to buy, you should know it is well worth the money. The yellow stencil on top is made of a very durable material so you won’t scratch it while learning to call. This is a lot of fun to learn as a beginner hunter and the realism is honestly astounding for the price. It is made from high-quality material and I would highly recommend to my friends and others.

My husband bought this- it works great- however should come with a warning that your husband will use it inside constantly, it’s great quality for both sound and build. Good value for money. Just let your husband know it’s an outdoor ONLY gift 😂

Good Call
Call sounded awesome first day it came in, but got a tip from someone to scuff up the slate and it ruined the call. Nothing was wrong with the call just a heads up not to scuff it up unless you know what you’re doing or you are gonna have to buy another like me. Pros: Good sound quality for money Easy to learn/use Call is good condition, doesn’t feel cheap

Good value
I've had a box caller for 40 years that costs about $50.00. This caller sounds just as good for $15.00. I hope it helps me get a turkey!

Doesn't seem good in heat
I will edit this later depending on how it performs over the next few days. Currently what I'm experiencing, is it works well in the morning, but in the heat of the afternoon I cannot get anything out of it. Today, I kept it out of direct sunlight, and even played it on some cool green vegetation. I was able to barely get some light clicks, but it's not hitting the high notes I need to make it realistic, and carry the sound.

Great item but needsa a bit of care tome to time
If you continue using the yellow guide the slate gets polished and is hard to orodice sound. Easy fix isto clean the slate with fine steel wool or even window cleaner to remove any buildup.
