Nedis Blu-ray, DVD & CD-ROM Lens Cleaner Disk with Ultra-thin Brush & 20 ml CD Liquid Cleaner

I bought a new CD and the last two tracks just simply wouldn't play. The player kept ejecting the disc.... The CD looked pristine so I guessed my player was acting up! I bought this disc cleaner. Unboxed it, read the instructions and simply applied two drops of the cleaning fluid to the two miniature brushes on the playing side of the CD and inserted it into my player: There are some visual prompts if you are cleaning a "computer" linked player. A couple of minutes of intense whirring and the disc was ejected. I immediately played my "faulty" CD which played right up to the last song. BRILLIANT. It was clear that the laser lens had become dirty and was now 100% operational again. VERY PLEASED.

used this on a few devices now and not really sure that it hasmade a difference... aww... it MUST have because it says so on the box!

Decent quality but the disc arrives already scratched, this should not compromise its functionality too much.

I've tried this in an old CD player that occasionally skips and I've also tried it with an old DVD player and neither of them can read anything from this CD! It's as if I'm inserting a blank CD-R as nothing happens! It's no good and even the fluid you apply to the disc brushes will just end up running off when the disk spins anyway (even with a really small amount).It's better just to open up the device yourself and manually clean the lens with a soft cotton bud and some isopropyl.

Does what it says on the cover good value

This arrived quickly and appropriately packaged.Unfortunately this didn't solve our issue, but that is not to say this wouldn't have solved another issue, just not ours.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Ps3 console has been having a hard time recently reading disks. Ps3 is reads Blue Ray disks so I bought this for under £8 and I was worried because you have to put a liquid solution on the little brushes and liquid inside the PS3 seems dangerous. But it worked wonders! Look at the pictures! You can see the dirt it removed next to the brushes! Amazing! I thought I needed a new console!
