These things fit great, value for money they are phenomenal, they are reliable, they sound great, for what they are and functional as they should. Now let’s be honest I use them in my Harley I have tortured these things literally and they bang loud as hell and clearly at 85mph for the price it’s not gonna get better they fit in the fairing pods and have been through more hell than they should have to and come out smelling like roses I’ll bet a 20 spot on them 2 times over

Terrific replacement speaker for the money. I used it to refurbish some old PhaseTech bookshelf speakers and they worked great and sound very good. Simple to install and all the hardware and connectors are provided.

The sound quality is clean and crisp with decent bass. These perform the best with a amplifier. I have installed these in several of my personal vehicles and Havnt had any complaints

these are pretty good, more midbass then mids ive had in the past but they aren't able to get very loud, but they are pretty loud for 2 6.5s in doors w/o an actual enclosure i have them on around 150w rms, they have trouble getting loud with lower freq and even some in the 100-300 range, have to adjust equalizer on some songs because it cannot hit those notes at high volume That being said, for what the 6.5 costs its a relatively decent speaker, i really wish the baskets and connectors were better quality, one was damaged on the mounting ring apon arrival but it wasn't a big deal as the surround was not effected I am using them in a single cab 04 silverado 1500, in the stock door mounting location, was no problem, but these need POWER, do not run them on under 80watts, PRO AUDIO NEEDS POWER!!

Edit: last night put everything together with the door panel and adjusted the eq and now the bass kicks. Wish I did this a long time ago Original: I bought this and a set of kenwoods 1666s to replace the stock front component speakers on a 2005 MINI R50, not using an amp and using stock headunit. With no EQ the stock speakers actually hits the bass really hard to my surprise but they are very old and need repairing. Comparing to stock, the kendwoods had some bass and skar had little bass but ultimately skar won out due to the clarity. The kendwoods at first sounded fine but when comparing back to back they were really muddy next to skar. The skar speaker takes a little more work because it comes with zero hardware and it has 2 large connection tabs rather than 1 big 1 small like most other speakers. The screws aren't a big deal because most of the time the provided screws are the wrong size but the large negative tab is the hassle if you're using a wiring harness. You have to swap out the smaller connection blade to the bigger 6.3mm or solder it. For the screws you'll want #8 sheet metal screws in stainless or black oxide in whatever length you need if attaching to a plastic bracket. You can go smaller to #6 if needed.

Good speakers scar audio makes one of the best speakers for the budget category the subs pound in the door speakers these are for vocals so if you want a speaker for bass and vocals these aren't the ones for you but if you want to separate your vocals from your base these are definitely the ones you want

I used these units to replace two Bose speakers one of which had blown in a Nissan murano (front doors), the difference is like night and day, performance greatly enhanced at less than 60% of Bose replacements.

These need more than 5 stars. For the price you can’t go wrong. 150w rms at full volume and crystal clear. I have 4, one in each door of my truck and my ears are ringing when I get out.

Bought these to replace the shot door speakers on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Had them installed at a local shop and they fired right up. They sound very similar to the original speakers if not a bit better for a fraction of the cost of OEM speakers. I've had them installed for 7 months now and I really enjoy them. I bought two of the 6.5 inch 300 Watt 4 Ohm Speaker.
