Dalmatia Fig Spread, 3.5 Pound

I, after reading many other reviews in which customers complained of damaged containers, am happy to report that my fig spread arrived in perfect condition and is absolutely delicious ! It does happen and the taste is worth the gamble ! I strongly encourage anyone that loves fig preserves to order this product and take the small shipping damage risk. If this kind of damage is a problem for Amazon I strongly recommend marking the packages with a driver caution, perhaps a different color packaging tape to alert handlers.

Fantastic product and size container. No issues with packaging

I love this product and was excited to see it in a large size at a great price. Like some other reviewers' experience, it arrived damaged. The pail it's shipped in split open during shipment. Not useable. Threw away. Non-returnable item, but after some effort, I found an Amazon cust serv rep who refunded the purchase. Not an easy refund process like most Amazon purchases.BTW, if you can get a large amount of this jam in a container that doesn't break, it freezes well. Enjoy!

Bought for my mother a true fig lover. She loves this stuff

I was purchasing the 2 pack 8.5 ounce glass jars of this delicious jam regularly, but since I have it for breakfast each morning (on homemade sourdough bread with French salted butter - yes, you may want to try it!) and we also use it on our homemade sourdough pizzas, I was spending too much and tossing a lot of glass into the recycling bin.Found this “food service size” for lack of a better description and couldn’t have been more excited!Package arrived in perfect condition and there are more chunks of figs (likely because of the size) than in the glass jars.If you love this brand (I’ve found it’s one of, if not the best fig spreads I’ve tasted) - it’s much more cost effective and equally delicious.You can also divide it into smaller containers if needed (ensuring they are very clean) for ease of storage/use.Thanks Amazon for having an alternative for those of us “fig jam junkies!”

Fig jam is really good the packaging needs help the top is not sealed so it opens during shipping and gets everywhereHopefully they can rectify this problem it happens every delivery

I was apprehensive (just a little) to order because of it being noted that container leaked or was open and jam was on packaging. I am so glad I chose to ignore the negatives and concentrated on the positives. Count me POSITIVE. The flavor is fabulous and the price cannot be matched. I’ll share with family member, but between my husband’s daily morning spread on bagel and my love of goat cheese and fig, I will be repurchasing sooner than later.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this spread. Costco used to offer it in large jars, but not any longer. I have ordered this lovely large container twice now through Amazon. My second try arrived today. Just as the first, the lid is popped and the beautiful spread is leaking into the bag. First time it shipped with other items and the box was damaged. Today the spread arrived alone and double boxed. But there was no packing other than a bit of bubble wrap around the tub. Nothing to keep the inner box from banging around inside the outer box so the container lid popped. Boo, tears, sadness! I don't know whether or not to give it a third try...
