I love these little filters! They fit my Pur brand water pitcher perfectly. The best part is the price. Here I get 3 for the same price as 1 from the manufacturer sold at a big box store. And, they actually seem to filter the water better and also do last the customary 3 months of lifespan these filters usually have.

Good filter at a good price!

I've always bought the OEM filters, usually at the Big Blue discount store, but the last batch I picked up were very questionable. The water would turn cloudy within a few days and I kept finding "stuff" floating in the newly filtered water. I have the big counter top model dispenser, and I clean it regularly, but nothing helped keep the water clear and free of floaters. Frankly, the water was disgusting, so I decided to try a different brand of filters to see if it made a difference. I LOVE these filters. The first thing I noticed was the water tastes better! I've had the first filter in for almost a month, and the water has stayed clear and clean, with no weird floaters. These filters offer muli-stage filtration - the are different from the OEM, but in a great way. A few things regarding the negative reviews: - It took about 48 hours for the new filter to become completely saturated so the water could flow through quickly. I followed the soaking and rinsing instructions, so the people who say the water doesn't flow didn't give them enough time to get saturated. Next time I will pre-soak the filter for longer than ten minutes. - I installed the new filter and filled the dispenser before I went to bed to give the water several hours to drip through. When you first install the filter, plan accordingly. It takes time, but it's worth it. As I said, after about 48 hours the filters dripped normally, so it is clearly a matter of saturation. - I have had NO weird debris in the bottom of the dispenser like some of the reviews said. This water is crystal clear and tastes delicious. We have horrible, hard water from a well. Now it tastes like bottled spring water. I like these filters so much that I ordered a second box to keep in the emergency pantry.

Honestly I can't tell the difference in taste from the Brita, so for me that's good enough. Whether it really filters out the same stuff, I'll have no idea unless I tested the water. But the water flow is good on refills. I'm happy with it at this price point.

These work great, and we love having fresh water from our pitcher again. I order over and over and remain very satisfied with the quality and price. Be sure and follow the directions in the beginning before the first use.

Just as good as a brand named filter! The water is fresh, clean, and very drinkable. I will definitely purchase this product again.

I have a well that from which the water needs filtering. Lots of minerals in the water. I have been using these generic filters in my Brita with excellent results. The filters are long lasting and do the job for me.

These do the job. The only thing that I don’t like is they say the use lasts about 2 months. They actually last us about 3 months.
