Linear PCM Digital Voice Recorder ICD-SX733

This little Sony is a great personal recorder. It's very compact and lightweight. The controls are simple and intuitive. The battery recharges via USB, and it holds a charge very well. The sound quality on playback is very good. The built-in microphone does a very good job, even if the recorder is in a shirt or coat pocket. With the addition of a plug-in lapel microphone, the sound is nearly perfect. I've found this recorder to be ideal for practicing presentations. It's also great for recording meetings, speeches, etc. For me, it's a great combination of features, usability, quality, and price. I recommend it most highly.

I have problems taking notes in class. This helped tremendously. Great samples, love the stereo option. Love the fact that the battery is rechargeable and that the USB jack just tucks itself right in like a tiny drawer. The power seems to last a while which is awesome. The stand it comes with is useful as well. Bottom line? it was worth every penny. I use it several times a week and i'm quite happy i got it.

Amazing recording quality. Neat feature that the USB slides right out of the case for connection to computer (but a cable is also included). A lot of high-quality technology and capability packed into a very light, small case. The lithium battery works great, recharges quickly. Perfect for my needs.

I've only used it three or four times but so far, I am very pleased. The menu and arrow keys make it very easy to set up your recording. Surprisingly, info on the screen is easy to read, too. Overall, sound quality is very clear and crisp but I wish I could reduce background noise levels a bit better and increase volume to more than 30--which appears to be the max. Still, I would recommend this product. Good value for the price.

In limited usage to date, the recorder has functioned perfectly. I use it primarily for note taking (my auxiliary memory) and have not yet explored the other capabilities. Delivery time was exceptional - well ahead of the projected time.

I am happy with it & loved it. Very nice. Using day to day & every day. USB adepter is practically very awkward..... Sony should improve its design. Its very dumb design by Sony. Olympus, very similar product is designed very well, and came with AAA rechargeable batteries, and with very practical USB connection.

This was highly rated by Hammacher Schlemmer so I expected greatness. Was more complicated to use than the Olympus voice recorder the practitioners have been using in our medical practice. Recording on microSD was convenient. But there's no easy way we could find to compress the MP3 voice files, which were too large to upload to our transcriptionist. Now it sits unused in a desk drawer. Will probably give it to one of our kids. The recordings were clear, and it was easy to charge.

I'm very satisfied with this product, it was just what I was looking for. I was able to down load on my computer and make a CD of what I captured.

L'oggetto è piccolo e robusto (guscio interamente in alluminio) ed è dotato di moltissime funzionalità per la regolazione dei microfoni, del formato di acquisizione delle registrazioni, ecc...; inoltre ha una memoria interna di 4 GB ulteriormente espandibile scheda esterna, che lo dota di una enorme autonomia. I microfoni sono molto sensibili e funzionano bene anche in caso di registrazioni di voci distanti. Il prezzo è abbastanza alto, ma comunque adeguato alla qualità del dispositivo. Consegna come al solito rapida ed efficiente.

Cumplía ámpliamente mis expectativas sobre el producto. Tiene un poder de grabación excelente igual que de reproducción. El tamaño es ideal para poder llevarla contigo a cualquier parte

Petit appareil enregistreur de bonne qualité . Micros incorporés trés sensibles . Pas de bruit de fond . Pas encore essayé en prise de son musique mais qualité des voix satisfaisante même en mode compression MP3 . Donc le mode HQ doit être encore meilleur .Et comme on peut connecter des micros extérieurs on doit pouvoir enregistrer en live de la musique au même niveau que mes anciens magnéto à bandes 100 fois plus volumineux et plus lourds ! Etonnant ! Il faut seulement se repérer dans les menus de configuration pour peaufiner les réglages un peu complexes à priori .Avec les réglages de base , il donne déjà de bonnes prises de son et mérite de les diffuser sur de vrais HP ou un casque haut de gamme .

I loved it excellent piece of kit. However wanted another one because I lost mine. The price has nearly doubled. So now it is not good value for money.
