Fresh Florida Grown Passion Fruit (3 Lbs)

I received 24 nice-sized (2-3inches long) perfect Passionfruit! You can see some are smooth & others starting to wrinkle/ripen, which is perfect as I don’t want them all ripe at the same time. Ate one upon arrival & it was delicious! These average about $2 a piece which is less than the $3 a piece at my local grocery store. I have purchased from this seller before and will continue to do so!

I have bought this passion fruits twice, both times my product arrived on time, well packed and the fruit was fresh and extremely tasty. I will keep buying it because I love to make passion fruit drinks. It is expensive but worth it.

Go to EBay, is way cheaper there I found 5lb for less than 50. I used to buy there but they were off the passion fruit for a while now they are back, my mistake I did not check before to buy here…..I haven’t even try them yet but they are so little and just by shaking them I can tell there’s no much pulp inside. Is just ridiculous to pay 65 for almost no pulp in the fruit. Never again……

The Florida ordered passionfruit I've gotten in the past tend to be very tart (not a complaint I like sour!) These were closer in flavor and sweetness to the ones I got in Hawaii. Idk what additives they're using in the soil here but good job.

The fruit were overly ripened to the point where when you cut into it some would release foamy bubbles and had that decomposing smell and taste. Yes even though it was bubbling I tasted it. Maybe 3-4 were like that others were very ripened almost to that bubbly state where the fruit is just brown gray and caved in, I wish I took photos since I like to buy these fruits first time trying this seller. The rest of the half were very very wrinkled. I just went ahead and juiced them all and seem to blend in the alcoholi flavor of an overly ripened fruit, so thankfully it was consumable.

Arrived unripe, but quickly started to ripen. Nice sized fruit, juicy and very flavorful. Would buy again!

I have been ordering passion fruit from Amazon vendors for YEARS and I've never been disappointed. Some of the reviews regarding their fruit being "wrinkled" or dry or molded, just doesn't make sense. Read and educate yourself if you are not familiar with passion fruit and you will learn that wrinkled means ripe and the pulp is never dry. This shipment had some of the biggest and most delicious pulp ever. I will admit that I never use for juice, I always get a spoon, cut the fruit in half and scoop out the deliciousness! See photo above to show you how wrinkled the fruit is on the outside, but how full of fruit it is on the inside. Thanks for never disappointing me....I just wish the price would stay a little more steady so I would not have to order so far apart!

The fruit looked great but I received 2.1 pounds, not 3 pounds. I have 2 digital scales for baking, and they both registered the total fruit at 2.1 pounds. The package arriving quickly and the fruit look great on the outside. I havent cut into them to use them at the time of this review. Edit: Additional feedback after cutting into them a day later. The fruit is not ripe. Each one smelled bitter, even foul. I don't feel like giving my family cyanide poisoning due to unripe fruit. This is really disappointing. I've had luck with this seller in previous years. This batch is just bad. I can't give it more than a single star. Edit: because I've had good luck in the past, I'll probably try them again. I'll just wait until a little later in the season. Edit. 6/24. Gonna try one more time. I'm holding on t faith that this time will be better. If so, I'll adjust the current rating and review. Edit 07/02. I took the chance and ordered another batch because I didn't want a single negative experience to jade me. The second batch came and the weight it was advertised for, and every single piece of fruit was ripe and smelled as ripe passion fruit should. The packaging was rather damaged upon arrival, but I'm blaming that on USPS. So, note to self, don't buy until mid summer to get the best fruit.
