Held our 20' Boat
The stand worked GREAT. We didn't hesitate using it. Amazon really failed on the shipping of this item though - they shipped it in a giant box with no packing so it bounced around and the box was pretty beat up and full of holes. I was surprised it made it.

Solid
This was excellent to support the bow of my 25 foot trailerable sailboat while I painted the bottom! It was stable, and made jacking a breeze. I paired it with 2 Brownell MB2 29"-46" Boat Stands for the stern, and had no issues for the week I had it up! 10/10

Perfect for Long term boat storage
I used these stands to raise my 27 foot Sundancer off my trailer to bottom paint while the EZ loader is at the shop getting electric over hydraulic controller installed. I purchased three of these keel stands, two BL3 hydraulic lifts, two SB4 sailboat stands, and two additional flat top stands (for the stern - See photo). These keel stands can take 20,000lb each and three is a bit overkill for a 25-27 power boat (weighing 7,000 lbs). But as an engineer, factor of safety is important. I used Brownell website to identify how many were sufficient. These keel stands could likely actually lift the boat up but they are not recommended to use in that way so I bought the BL3 hydraulic lifts to do the lifting and then put the keel stands under. They are WAY better than blocks because they are infinitely adjustable whereas blocks are not. Three of them along the 20 foot keel really level out the stresses. Although they are pricey, they are, in my opinion, the only way to safety lift and store a boat (without commercial hoisting system). Good job Brownell!

Not thrilled with the product received
Opened up box to see damage paint and then also seems to be an uneven base as the pipes or not in the corner like previous jacks, I would just figure that boat jacks being built by Brownell would at least be all welded together the same apparently not, or maybe I will just have to order them from Boat outfitters from now on..
