Texas Instruments TI-30XS MultiView Scientific Calculator

The TI‑30XS MultiView has quickly become one of the most dependable tools in my everyday math workflow. What sets it apart from other scientific calculators is how intuitive it feels, even when you’re working through more complicated problems. The four‑line display is a game‑changer — being able to see multiple steps at once makes it so much easier to catch mistakes and understand how your calculations build on each other. The layout is clean and logical, and the buttons have a good, responsive feel. I never find myself hunting for functions or second‑guessing whether I pressed something correctly. For high school math and science, it hits the sweet spot: powerful enough for algebra, geometry, chemistry, and beyond, but not overloaded with features that get in the way. One of my favorite aspects is how clearly it shows fractions, exponents, and conversions. Instead of compressing everything into a single line of symbols, it displays problems in a way that mirrors how students write them on paper. That alone makes learning — and teaching — so much smoother. Durability-wise, it’s solid. It holds up well in a backpack, on a desk, or being passed around during study sessions. The battery life is excellent, and it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. If you’re looking for a calculator that balances simplicity with capability, this one is hard to beat. It’s reliable, classroom‑friendly, and thoughtfully designed to help students actually understand their math rather than just punch in numbers.

A total game-changer for high school math! The four-line screen lets my teen see previous entries and check past work easily without clearing the screen. It handles fractions, decimals, and advanced algebra steps with clear, easy-to-read math formatting. My child can scroll up, edit a small mistake in an old equation, and recalculate without typing the whole thing again. The sturdy design fits right inside a school binder or backpack, and the solar-plus-battery power means it never dies during an exam.

I bought 2 of these. One is for my daughter, whose teacher requested students get this particular calculator. So far, she hasn't used it for class because school just started. But she's prepared. For context, she's in honors math and I believe this will be in high use by end of week. The second one is for my bf who is getting his GED. When I researched, I found out this is the exact calculator on the test. So, while calculators may not be allowed during the test, if you master this, when the built in one appears, you should know exactly how to use it because you are practicing and studying with the physical version. Value for money is great. Just below what I could find in my local office supplies store. Solar powered comes in handy. Screen quality is good, not too bright, not dim. Fits great in a backpack and that's important for both people because backpacks get heavy fast. Superficially, I like the color for this calculator. For a basic calculator, it's overkill. But, but a nice advanced calculator for high school level and GED study, it's great.

Suitable for simple things - also easier to use than their TI-81 powerhouse for graphing. It can take a good drop

I picked up the Texas Instruments TI-30XS MultiView for coursework, and it has quickly become my go-to calculator. It’s permitted on most standardized tests (SAT, ACT, AP exams, and GED), making it extremely versatile. The combination of solar and battery operation means you never have to worry about it dying during an exam.

This is a great calculator for a math student. Somewhat difficult to operate. One has to go to Ti website to download instructions. I found using the "classic" mode work for me, others more complicated.

I needed a scientific calculator for my Honors Math 2 class, and this one has been really good so far. It took me a little bit to get used to all the buttons, but once I figured it out, it was pretty easy to use. I really like the four-line screen because it makes it easier to see my calculations and check my work. It has pretty much everything I need for math class and seems like it will last a long time. Definitely recommend it if you need a calculator for school!

Last week I used it to convert a client’s poster measurements for a smaller proof sheet, then checked the ratio again before sending the file to print. That saved me from second-guessing the layout. The keys feel familiar, and the menus took only a little exploring to understand. I appreciate that it handles the scientific functions I reach for while staying simple enough for quick checks.

Instead of a calculator I have been sent a book about a calculator... in German! Completely useless, and as it was for a Christmas gift, now a problem too. Just not good!

Equipo de buena funcionalidad y teclado intuitivo de fácil uso. Excelente precio.

Perfect exam calculator of the IMC exam in the UK.
