Rooibos Tea can replace caffeinated black tea.
I was looking for a tea that tasted like black tea but was caffeine free (not decaffeinated). This tea comes in Earl Grey as well, which is my favorite tea. I don't like herbal teas, plus I use milk in my tea, so I was dreading cutting out caffeine. This Rooibos Tea is perfect , and delicious! You can brew it strong and don't have to worry about caffeine. Icing on the cake is that it is the tea (Redbush Tea) of choice of one of my favorite characters in a mystery novel series set in Africa.

Fabulous earl grey flavor
I've had to give up black tea (including decaf) for a while and while herbal teas are great, they're just no substitute for a hearty cup of earl grey or english breakfast in the morning. After 8 months of drinking lots of plain rooibos, I had an epiphany and realized somebody somewhere has probably manufactured earl grey-flavored rooibos. I searched on amazon, and boom! There it was. I HIGHLY recommend this if for whatever reason you can't drink black tea or don't want the caffeine but love earl grey. The scent is enticing, flavor is robust but not too overpowering-- just the right amount of bergamot in my opinion-- and it is absolutely delicious with milk. The teabags are simple, no string or staple; they are flat and circular and come in the box all together rather than individually wrapped. I don't mind because I polish it off in less than a month, but if you plan to go through more slowly you may want to transfer the tea bags to an airtight container. Box isn't too sturdy, but again, that doesn't really matter to me. The flavor is top notch, and as a bonus, it helps me feel awake by fooling my brain into thinking I drank caffeine!

Tasty
Turns out Rooibos and Earl Grey work well together. Tea packs are aromatic and the tea is rick in flavor without one flavor over powering the others.

Handy tea bags for travel but flavor not strong
Likes: Rooibos tea in BAGS that are handy to use while traveling. Not-so-good: Bergamot flavor is weak. I have made my own rooibos "earl grey" at home. I place several drops of Bergamot essential oil on a small scrap of paper towel. Then I bury that into a container of loose rooibos tea for a week or so, stirring it every day. This brand of Rooibos Earl Grey is weaker than what I can make at home. Some reviewers state that this is "as strong as" their regular Earl Grey, others say it's weaker. Perhaps some batches are stronger than others, or maybe people's flavor expectations differ. I had hoped that by purchasing this, that it would be stronger than my own, but it is not. The only plus for purchasing this package is that there are 40 bags in it and I use them while I travel.

... and then she hugged me.
My 23-yr old daughter suffers from migraines and poor circulation in her feet. I'm 9 years Paleo and a certified Primal Health Coach, studying human intestinal microbiome and metabolic disease. We've tried every dietary strategy except AIP because eggs and coffee were non-negotiable for her, until now. Her life is completely on hold because of the migraines. School, driver's license, life in general, for her, is almost constant pain. Her favorite tea is Earl Grey but she can't have caffeine, so I started looking and found this tea. It doesn't fill the coffee void but it's AIP compliant and she loves it with a little raw honey from a local apiary. She took a sip, walked across the kitchen and dining room, put her arms around me and asked how tightly she could squeeze without hurting me 😆

Rich, smooth, silky
This tea is a staple in my cabinet. I started drinking rooibos when I was pregnant with my second child 14 years ago, mostly for the health benefit and lack of caffeine (I'm typically a coffee drinker but didn't indulge when pregnant). Like good rooibos teas, this is rich and smooth. I love the freshness of the aroma. It's complex and flavorful with a silky mouthfeel. Combined with bergamot for that classic Earl Grey flavor it's bright and refreshing, but the depth of the rooibos gives it a warming balance that makes this cup perfect for any time of day. I particularly like to drink this late at night before bed when unwinding for the day. I also like to keep my tea bag in the cup to maximize its strength. Being free of tannins, it won't release any bitterness with extended brewing times. It's kind of the equivalent of sipping port at night... well, almost!

Great decaf hot tea alternative, watch out for incorrect items
***Update*** I ordered this again and was shipped the Vanilla flavor instead of the Earl Grey that I ordered. Amazon then gave me the runaround saying it was not returnable or refundable even though they clearly sent me the wrong item. The sticker at the top says Earl Grey but the box is clearly Vanilla. I was looking for a tea with more flavor than a simple black tea but without caffeine. This definitely fits the bill. It has a good flavor without being overwhelming. I can drink several cups in the morning and it doesn't get old. Some strings on the bags would be nice, but it's a minor gripe.

Thank you, Amazon!
I’m so happy that Amazon has brought this tea to the States! I had to stop drinking caffeinated tea many years ago, but Earl Grey tea was one of my favorites, and I missed not being able to enjoy it. Now I can have a wonderful caffeine-free cup of Earl Grey any time I like! Thank you, Tick Tock! Thank you, Amazon! (The box says that Tick Tock has been making tea since 1903! I wondered why I’d never heard of them, until I saw they are based in England 💡Please don’t ever stop importing this brand 🙏)

Weak flavour, Dry throat
I really want to love this because I want an alternative that is caffeine free. Unfortunately, I don't think this will become that alternative as I need multiple packets (2-3) to get enough taste and for some reason drinking this Tea dries out my throat.
