Would this be ok for a deisel Berlingo (2018) van. Deisel engines get hotter than 85c.

I don’t know. I’m using mine on the leisure battery of a Motorhome which isn’t in the engine bay.

I have two cars so I would like to buy two of these. Does the app recognise two different units?

I would imagine as it is Bluetooth the app should recognise the different codes on each device you have installed, the only issues you may find is that you will need to note down the code of each unit and what car it is in, otherwise, you won't know what battery has what voltage. Also, having the cars very close together may give you issues on the app as it will try to connect to each at the same time. It's possible the app may see them as separate units and ask which one you want to connect to first. Hope that helps.
