Looking for a less expensive silvervine product? Look no further.
I had purchased a package of dried silvervine from another brand once before, but it was very expensive (it was at least $8 for the previous brand I bought). I needed more after my two cats used up the previous package, and I searched Amazon to see if there was a similar package for less than $8. Sure enough, I believe this package by Meowy Jane’s was only $4-5. My cats enjoy them, they last awhile (throw them away if the silvervine starts to splinter or get large sharp edges as your cat could hurt itself!), and they are as good as other more expensive brands. Love that they are grown in the USA as well.

No interest from my cats
I have two cats and neither showed any interest in them other than knocking them off the counter in disgust. I followed instructions.. scraped some bark away to expose the green tissue and release the smell. Nope. Sprayed one with catnip... still nothing. Oddly enough, not even my dogs wanted to chew them which is really strange. I had high hopes because cats do love to chew.... Packaging is nice and the product seems to be made well. Personally, I thought it was worth the $10 to give them a go. It may very well be a genetic thing just like catnip is.

Cat Carries Them Around, So Win?
I bought these to keep my cat from chewing on everything else. He has a special affinity for metal objects, which is odd to me. He is pretty quirky, and I have confirmed with the vet that he has no medical problems - he is just odd. He acts more like a dog on any given occasion, so it wasn't that weird when I found him carrying these around the house rather than actually chewing on them. He looks like a really small black lab carrying a found stick. Kind of cute. He doesn't care about the flavor of them, so I don't know if they actually work. I think he prefers normal catnip since he must dive headfirst into the pile. I probably won't buy again because he doesn't actually use them, but it is fun to watch him carry the stick next to the dogs who carry their toys. It's a whole round of fun when the zoomies get started.

took some time but now our kitties love these!
Bought these hoping they'd help with dental health but our kitties totally ignored them ... for like 2 months. And then one day I heard a rattling, and I was like "what is she playing with, a pencil or sth?!" I had forgotten about these sticks honestly so I was very surprised to see kitty playing with one of these so vigorously. Both kitties love them now, months later. They race around playing with them but also actually do hold them in their paws and chew on them. See my pic, you can see they chewed all the "bark" off them or whatever. By and by they disappear -- I have no idea where they go -- so I get a new one out of the package for them to destroy and they love it. My one criticism is they seem a bit expensive. I do recommend them though, but give them time for kitties to get interested! It might take months like it did for me.

Only gave 1 star because my cat does not like and has zero interest in the product
I only gave this product one star because my cat has zero interest. It's probably a fine product, for OTHER peoples felines. I was excited when I read the description as an alternative to catnip that was good for keeping the cat occupied with play, biting and overall enjoyment. I received the item, scraped the bark as instructed off of a stick. My cat turned his nose up at it. He will not play with it, bite it, nothing. He has zero interest in these sticks. I even tried to engage him in play with it. NOTHING. $10 is a lot to spend on a cat treat, but since it was also a 'play' item that he could bat and bite, I decided to give it a try. Since it has been opened, I'm stuck with a pack of catnip alternative sticks that my cat will not ever use. I didn't see anything with a smaller quantity of silvervine to try before buying to see if my cat would even be interested in it versus the catnip he loves.

My cat loves them!
I saw these from a TikTok and thought I’d give them a try since my cat typically is uninterested in catnip and she ended up loving these!! My cat likes to chew on them and they do a good job cleaning her teeth while also not having much of a bad smell. The only thing I don’t like is that the bark often flakes off which leaves a mess, but it’s not too hard to clean up. I definitely recommend this product to any cat owners, but just make sure you are watching over your pet while they play with them! :)

Better As Dog Chews
I got these for my cats because they look like they’d be great for tarter control and tasty but my cats turned their noses up on them. One ate it after me playing with him with it and he ate it but after that none of them were interested in the least. I ended up giving one to the squirrel and another to a possum that comes by nightly. I’m not sure if it’s the taste they don’t like or the shape is weird. They’ll eat small treats but not a stick. This is more conducive for a dog as they like to bite on sticks, whereas cats noy so much.

Good to have around
My cat doesn’t love these but I do see him chew on them every now and again. Nothing impresses him too much when it comes to any catnip or scent. It’s got to be real upgraded stuff to see a mood difference. I don’t smell anything. You do get bark around sometimes but very little.
