This charming, unconditionally candid tale raises bathroom humor to new heights. Splendidly straightforward and comic, it is at first unbelievable and then irresistible. When Little Mole looks out of his hole one morningโPLOP!โsomething lands on his head. Whodunit? In this ifunny mystery, Little Mole questions each of his neighbors, trying to find out whodunit on his head. In the end, with the help of some flies, Little Mole gets his revenge. Readers of all ages will enjoy this one-of-a-kind, stinky, and delightful story. From author Werner Holzwarth and illustrator Wolf Erlbruch, The Story of the Little Mole Who Went in Search of Whodunit is a hugely popular international bestseller for good reason! Review: Hilarious, weird, and unforgettable โ kids (and adults) love it! - This book is an absolute gem! The Story of the Little Mole Who Went in Search of Whodunit is quirky, funny, and totally unlike any other childrenโs book we own. The premise is simple but brilliant โ a little mole trying to figure out who pooped on his head โ and the journey he goes on is filled with laugh-out-loud moments and delightfully gross fun. Kids find it hilarious (because, wellโฆ poop), and honestly, so do the grown-ups reading it. The illustrations are expressive and charming, and the writing has just the right touch of dry humor. It's the perfect mix of silly and clever. It's become a favorite bedtime read in our house, and it always gets giggles. Highly recommend if you're looking for something unique and joyfully absurd โ itโs a hit every time! Review: Wonderful book for a child - I first noticed this book 6 years ago while I was in London and didn't purchase a copy then. Six years on and with a 2 year old nephew in existence I finally bought a copy of this book for his birthday and he absolutely adores it. The book is entertaining, beautifully illustrated and it came perfectly packaged in a cardboard envelope. Personally prefer the alternative title of this book which is "The Little Mole who knew that it was none of his business" as it seems to fit the content of the book better. This book is comical, practically ageless [you don't need to be a child to enjoy this book] and extremely education as to how each animal produces its waste. Highly recommended and I hope you enjoy it as much as my nephew and I do.

This is the FUNNIEST BOOK!
I first read this book ten years ago when someone brought it in to work. I laughed so hard I couldn't stop! Then I tried to find it everywhere, bookstores, kids stores, online stores, you name it. Part of the difficulty was remembering its name. I would do an Amazon search from time to time but could never find it. So it was for several years. Now I have a little 1 year old and decided to try my quest again. Lo and behold, The Great Amazon carries it in stock now! So without hesitation I bought it, with Amazon Prime had it delivered 2 days later, and read it to my little guy! It is probably my best kids book next to the Giving Tree and The Stinky Cheese Man. Be sure to find Sir Gawain and the Loathly Lady too. But get this book! It's better you don't know what it's about, just get it and then enjoy it's pleasant surprises.

forget "everybody poops"
I had this book when I was younger, and now I have purchased it for a friend who is expecting his first child to be born in August 2013. At the baby shower, it was a good laugh for the ladies to joke about, but when my friend got to see and read it, he laughed so hard I thought he might start crying. It is a fun story about a mole who goes to the other farm animals and asks who pooped on his head. It looks at the different way everyone poops with a fun and comical twist. Funny illustrations and a cute story, very good read.

This is a terrific story and lots of fun
Ahh, we got this book about 18 years ago when my daughter (senior in college) was in preschool and they read it in class. The book we got then was much bigger than the one I just received. Oh well. We got this new copy to give to a little preschooler and we hope she loves it as much as we have. This is a terrific story and lots of fun. Would've given that fifth star if they hadn't have downsized the book to a smaller format, because poop books are better when they are big.

Too cute!
This is one of my favorite books to read to my nieces and nephews. They love it. It helps talk about poop and not in the potty mouth kind of way. But in an โeveryoneโ does it kind of way. It also lets you dive deep with it comes to onomatopoeia, descriptors, and being inquisitive. My niece lovingly calls it the poop book.

All things Poo....
If you have kids, just buy it. Poo is fascinating for small people and this story is an informative romp through the excretions of a whole host of animals and a little mole who is out for revenge.

Not for bowsers.
The ideal book for dads to share with their young sons. All males love poo jokes.

Cute and funny
My 10-year-old boy love this book! Hilarious and fun. Great characters and a very silly story which of course involves poop and that is already a home run for a boy at that age.
