Great product.
Works great. Mine (purchased 12/25) has the updated balance pin. Balance tires that perform smoothly at 75mph. The bubble, target window and centering dot are very small and difficult to see. I took my time and used a magnifying glass and flashlight to verify I was getting it in the center and thus got a great balance. Have used on car as well as large 4 wheel drive tires and by taking my time they balance great. Very satisfied with this static tire balancer. Just a disclaimer...do not drop tires on balancer. This may mar the balance pin and cause it to not be as sensitive. Also great price.

BETTER THAN MOST!
worked great right out of the box with minor calibration. definitely one of the ones with poor fit and finish that gets hung up on the pin this one does what itโs supposed to do with no messing around. WOULD RECOMMEND OVER OTHER NON US BRANDS IVE SEEN. definitely cream of the crop.

Works better than expected!
This uses a very sensative bubble level that seems futzy to determine when it is dead center. However, I had some tires that were so out of balance they would shake and rattle at 55mpg or faster. I balanced them using this, and now they are smooth as silk at any speed. I recommend getting the stick-on weights, rather than the old fashion lead ones that you hammer on the rim.

A good quality unit, which produces good results.
The item was received on schedule, and proved to be a pretty good product. Getting the 'bubble top' mounted on the 'point' correctly was a little bit finicky, but after mounting, the unit worked well. It does take some getting used to, as the balancing unit, even with the tire/wheel assembly setting on it, tends to move around for a long time. It helps to lightly touch the tire with your finger, or even a rag, in order to get the unit to stop. After experimenting with it, I finally figured out to place the weights on the top of the wheel around the lip, until the correct amount had a good balance, and the bubble was in the center of the glass. Then, I would place a piece of tape on the rim in the center of the weights to mark the location, and then I could turn the wheel over and, upon locating the tape, place the weights on the inside of the wheel. (I used stick-on weights). After the weights are on, you can then flip it back over and do a final check - you may have to adjust the weights again. I have two observations: 1) clean the wheel thoroughly where the weights will be stuck - scrape off any dirt/old adhesive, and then scrub with a rag and acetone, so as to allow the sticky side of the weight(s), to adhere fully on the wheel. 2) You may have some trouble viewing the edge of the bubble, particularly if you have old eyes (!). Make sure you have good lighting, or even use a flashlight, or the light on your phone, so you can see it from all sides. All in all, the balancer seems to be of good quality and finish; I am pleased with my purchase, and will use it as needed. In my area the tire shops charge $18 per tire to mount/balance, so with one set of tires I've already paid for the balancer and weights. The mounting/balancing process isn't necessarily easy, but if you are so inclined, and have several vehicles, you can save quite a bit of money!

Surprisingly good
For the money, it's a solid value. Sturdy base makes it pretty simple to set up and use. You'll definitely want to calibrate the level bubble using the three Phillips screws on top. Other than that one step, it was ready to use with very basic assembly. I balanced 3 16" wheels/tires that I freshly mounted myself with it. After a little experimenting I did get a good balance and the car is nice and smooth at 60 mph. It is simple, but it works.

Probably The Best One Out There
I have watched almost every video posted in the last 10 years on these devices. I've seen all the issues with these including pivot point mods, bad machining, binding/crooked guide rods, etc. I bought this one based on the reviews here that addressed one of the most common issues which is the pivot point. This "brand" has addressed all the issues that have plagued this simple design. 1) The pivot point is machined as it should've been from the inception. There is zero binding and the balance will even rock simply by walking past the machine. The device was well zeroed straight out of the box. 2) The guide rods supporting the centering cone are true to its base and move freely with no binding throughout the full travel. 3) The overall machining and fit and finish are exceptional. 4) The sight glass is clear and defined and responsive to adjustment although a bit small and difficult to see due to parallax but magnification helps. I'm happy thus far and would recommend this "brand" over the others.

For the price, I was expecting to have to modify it. Surprise, they actually built it correctly!
I have done a lot of research and general snooping to see what to look for and look out for, and this thing, for the price, is an easy win. I statically balanced all 4 of my tires with it the other day, and even at 80mph, there was 0 steering wheel vibration or road noise from the tires. Which says a lot considering that I have ALWAYS had to bring my tires back to the tire shop to get them rebalanced because the wheel almost always wobbled at 60mph. This thing truly was a one and done thing. As other reviewers have stated, typically cheaper balancers are made in a way where the pin isn't actually making great contact with the balancing plate, and so you're not finding true balance with them until you modify them by drilling out the plate or some other sort of fix. You can tell you have a bad one if when you knock it off balance, it only wobbles for a few seconds or less than a minute. One that's truly balancing on the end of the pin will wobble for minutes as it tries to find balance. I was fully prepared to have to drill out this one and fix it up, but to my pleasant surprise, it's built exactly like it needs to be, and tries to find true balance. It is a little smaller than I was expecting, it's quite short, but you can always put it on top of something sturdy if that bothers you.

Well worth the price, and it works. Highly Recommended.
As usual - fast/prompt delivery. Highly Recommended. Quality matches the price. Good value. Actually surprised how "heavy" the device is. Before buying this product, I had gone through a lot of reviews here (thanks to those previous reviewers) and Youtube videos, so I knew what to expect. I hope this review will help others. Within 24 hours of receiving this device, I already earned back 3/4 of the cost by balancing 4 (all season) tires myself. The vibrations have been much improved. It should be emphasized that "static" balancing may not be as accurate compared the "Shop". Personally, this is good enough for me so far. Key highlights: 1) as suggested by a lot of previous reviewers, put some grease into the pin-hole before using it 2) be patient while calibrating it (ie. using the three screws to center the "bubble"), it may take some time and many trials 3) [based on my own experience - this is important] use a flash light when centering the "bubble"; otherwise the Shadow of the "bubble" could get you confused; I spent more than 1/2 hour trying to figure out why the "bubble" could not be centered consistently. It turned out that I was (mistakenly) looking at the Shadow of the "bubble" instead Future Enhancement: Per some of the previous reviewers (and Youtubers), it would be worthwhile to make some small enhancements (ie. enlarging the pin-hole, and use a sharper/harder pin instead). It all makes sense and I will be working on that before the next round (when mounting snow tires in the fall).

Tire Balancer
Looks good. It is the improved model with a larger area for the balancing point. I still have to try it out with a tire.

tricky
The balancer unit works after a fashion and the price was right. It is a bit tricky to put the head unit onto the tiny little pin. Setup and initial adjustment is ok. The real problem is that the bubble in the middle is so small that it is hard to see. Secondly, it is not very responsive to weights being added and hardly moves at all for anything under an ounce. I did four new snow tires on four known good rims, but I have a vibration at around 60MPH. I will have to go to a shop for a better balance. That said, I am ok with the purchase and cannot complain about a unit that costs a hundred times LESS than a commercial balancer. I got what I paid for and will continue to use it.
