Blood and guts and horror
My teenage son brought this author to my attention. He had read both the “Cirque du Freak” and “Demonata” series in middle school. He asked for the first series at Christmas. He mentioned these books were exactly to my taste so I picked up the first in that series and devoured the next 9. I picked up the first in the “Demonata” series at the library and ordered the set that very day. I think Darren Shan is a fine author of the macabre. I look forward to reading at night with all but a single lamp burning and the rest of the house dark.

One of the best series of books to get your kids into reading
Loved this series since I was a little kid but could never read the entire collection because the books were very hard to get at any library so I decided to buy them and I don’t regret it at all I’m already at book 9 and can’t wait to get started on the Cirque Du Freak series as well that just came through the mail today, the only downfall is that the cover isn’t the original like shown in the pictures but oh well the books are great can’t argue there

I FINALLY HAVE THEM ALL
I received all of the books. If you prefer a specific art type on the cover be aware that the art is different to those pictured. At the end of the day, this is one of my favorite series of books and I have them all and they are in good condition so I'm happy.

Awesome box set for fans of sci fi.
Mine came brand new sealed. Covers were the one shown as of this review. They came in a nice box for storage. Great series for early teens. A bit graphic/violent but if they're into sci-fi / liked the Cirque du Freak books, they'll love these too. Can't beat the price

Fun Starter Horror Series
I grew up on these books and rereading them is extremely nostalgic and fun. I will say although I do enjoy the new cover art nothing can compare to the original books. Those felt gruesome and these make it feel more cartoony. Overall this is a great series for someone getting into start horror books.

Im glad to have found this set, i originally read this series when i was a teenager and love the cover art for this set

Finale a sorpresa
I generally don't read this kind of book but the plot is extremely engaging. The characters have a certain depth and it's written in a straightforward way. It was excellent entertainment.

A young adult classic
