I had used the free version of Malwarebytes on my desktop and tried the 14 day trial of Premium. I decided recently to go ahead and get this 18 month deal on Premium for two devices. I did not have any problem installing it on my desktop. A few days later, I attempted to install it on my laptop. The install did not appear to be working at first but I did get it to finally show up as being installed on a second device in the Malwarebytes account I had to register for when I installed it on the desktop. Last week, I took the laptop on a trip and when I logged onto it, a Malwarebytes pop-up informed me that I had 4 days remaining on my free 14 day trial of Premium. There was no mention of the 18 month subscription. I don't know what has gone wrong but I am going to try to see If I can get it sorted out. It seems to be working as intended on the desktop. UPDATE: I revisited this today and was successful (eventually) on getting the program installed on the new laptop and recognized in my account. I am no IT Specialist (obviously) but do think Malwarebytes is good software and this package from Amazon providing for installation on two machines for 18 months of service seemed to be the best value I saw. Consequently, I am revising my grade upward.

Could not activate it. Contacted Malwarebytes, and they were absolutely no help. Help desk or whatever are less experienced than I am. They were going to refund my purchase, but said I bought it through Amazon, so they could not, and for Amazon to refund it. The time has passed to return it to Amazon, so basically, Malwarebytes said so sorry. Next... I paid $21 to Amazon for nothing. Malwarebytes is the worst.

Malware Bytes is my go to protection platform. Would highly recommend. Use to use it to find malware on other systems using the free version. Since it worked so well, I decided to pay for it and use it full time. It is a good value and I highly recommend.

The delivery was super fast. The installment and activation was confusing. Once I received the card which came with a license key, I was able to download the software and installed it - windows 10 default directory. And then I could see a blue button 'Activate'. I did click that button several times, receiving error, 'activation failed'. Then I figured I had to click where it showed 0/2 devices and clicked Activate. I knew the activation worked, because I did not get an error. But there were a bunch of ads coming to distract me and so I closed the window, clicked the shortcut on my desktop and started scanning.

I liked it so much that I searched for and found this full version so I can run it full time. Not only am I pleased by the manner in which Malwarebytes protects and cleans and unwanted viruses, but the job it does against adware and site analytics is amazing. There is an add-in for web browsers that blocks informatics collection, and an icon on the extension bar that notifies when an extension or potentially harmful website has been blocked. With all the shenanigans being perpetrated by Big Tech lately, it is comforting knowing that Google, Facebook and even Amazon are not gaining any more access to my data and privacy than I specifically allow them to.
