Excellent
The pole is fluted which aids in stability. Compared to other poles it doesn't droop much fully extended and the foam grips help you hold it steady. It is not very heavy but rugged. We managed to harvest our avocados from our very tall avocado tree easily. The extension clamps are easy to use and work very well. Worth the money.

Great quality-very sturdy
We were hesitant to buy a picker this long that extended without coming apart but this pole is very well made and very sturdy, even when fully extended. The basket attachment arrived a little bent up, but we were able to bend it back into shape. It gets a bit heavy, even for aluminum but thatโs to be expected Iโm sure.

Really Nice but clamp won't close down
Works well but the clamp that came with it to hold the picker attachment on has a screw that is too short to close all the way down to hold the picker firmly on the pole. DIDN'T THEY TEST THIS???? I had to use a clamp from my tool set. ALSO, the poles need to be sturdier, when fully extended the last pole section bends quite a bit. Also comes with a duster attachment to wipe down things like a high ceiling.

Excellent for picking fruit high up in tree
Worked great to get the Anjou pears out of the top of my tree. Itโs sturdy and well built, looks like it will hold up for years!

Best fruit picker for the home grower.
Iโve had a few basket style extension pole pickers in the thirty years that Iโve had a home orchard. This one is the best Iโve had. The pole is sturdy while still being light weight enough to handle. The pole is long enough to reach the highest branches without a ladder. If you let your tree grow higher, thatโs on you. We were able to take advantage of our best apple and pear harvest in years because of this picker. Donโt over think this, this is the one.

24' Pole Good for Picking Avacados from a Full-Sized Tree
Save yourself $20 and get the 24' instead of the 30', unless you've got a REALLY tall window to dust. I wouldn't try picking anything at 30'. Basket stays on. Telescopes slide easily. Locks stay in place. With it at full extension, you will either need to retract or dump your pickings somewhere soft. That's easy with Avacados. Easily-bruised fruit might be a different story. The pole can hold it's own weight plus the empty wire basket if you lower it gingerly and dump your fruit before you hit ground, but it flexes and I wouldn't be surprised if a full basket caused a deformation failure. What do you expect from aluminum? A steel pole would be too heavy, a titanium pole would be too expensive. This is good, and worth 5 stars. You can buy with confidence.

Works Great
I had a previous picker that broke on its first use and retuned it. It had cheap plastic tabs for an extension. This picker showed up and was easy to use and extended fully. It very solid and should hold up for years to come. Great buy. It should be noted that it came with a dust attachment and the fruit picker showed up three days later. This should have been clarified at purchase.

Do not let pole drop to release fruit when fully extended! Must collapse pole every time.
Good picker but it has faults. The longer you stretch it out the more vulnerable it gets to bending & kinking, ruing it! I had it almost fully extended & let it drop to the ground & like a fishing pole it bent. Then it kinked!!! The upper most thinnest part of the pole! Only 10 inches of it. I cut it & used black tape to secure when clamped in place! Wow. Great for low to medium height if you will. But full extended? Gotta be careful. I now yank the fruit, then collapse the pole while its still straight up! Annoying yanking a lot of fruit. Mainly mangos right now. They heavy too. Avocados soon. The pole has slight noticeable curves in it but still works ok.

Strong , sturdy and works.
Worked very well in helping remove the apples of our large and old apple trees. It was also strong enough to resit been caught up on the branches and was big enough for the largest cooking apples.

Perfect for apples and such, tines too big for cherries.
It does come with the fruit basket AND a ceiling brush! So, win-win! :-) I will try and fit it for cherries somehow, but it'll be perfect for apples, pears, bigger fruits. Perfect seller, excellent product!

Great fruit picking tool!
Very easy to use. Picked the plums of the plum tree without any other help. Will be using the docapole on the apple trees in the coming weeks. No longer having to leave the fruits out of reach to rot/drop from the trees.

Pretty good! A little bit heavy when reaching out to high point.

No more sketchy ladders
Works well for hard fruits, but it's a little difficult with soft ones, like plums, apricots, etc.. The hooks can spear right through them... just needs more caution.
