Introduction to Sociology Second Edition

This is a book that my professor reqiured I buy for his course. I would have to say that its a great book I have been able to ace his tests just buy reading the required chapters without useing a review. I really like the fact that it has up to date examples from different movies or pop icons, which made it easier to make connections from my person experiences.

I rented this book and received it in two days with the Amazon College thing. The content is cool because its is actualy relative to the world at the moment. I really enjoyed my sociology class and this book helped because it had good examples for every concept.

As far as modern Sociology books go this one is just as politically correct and propagandizing as any other. For the most part it is easy to follow and comprehend the basis of the pompous writing. The author is quite conceded and does not hesitate to show that. I feel that I could have learned as much from Google as I have from this textbook.

My mom rented this for my sociology class and I'm happy with how cheap it was for a rental. The book looks like it has been used but it's still in good condition. I would recommend this to anyone taking this course!

Just what I needed for class!!

I had to buy this book for my university course. Fully satisfied, no problem with that. I bought the e-version and it worked just fine. Great book to introduce students to sociology and actually very clear and easy to understand. I wished I had bought the paper version but it would have taken to much time to arrive in Italy and it costed too much more. I think the price is a little bit too much also for the e-version , but rather than that it's one of the few books from university that I would have cared to keep if I had the paper version since now.

This textbook is perfect!! Colorful and double sized bigger than the normal book, only costs 56,39euro, absolutely worthy to possess one.I've got nothing to complain about the book but the trasportaion... ordered on Dec 10th, arrived on Dec 18th (even with Amazon Prime), my previous experiences with Amazon were quite enjoyable, only this time, made me a little disappointed, hope this would be the last time.
