These were a perfect fit for my Samsonite carry-on. They perform just like the original wheels or better. They were easy to replace. Worth the 20 minutes or so of work.

This set is the perfect solution to bring your bag back to life! The wheels are well made and come with bearings which make them much smoother and more durable than the originals... The hardest part is cutting off the old axles - luckily I had access to a drill press which made installation a breeze. The steps I followed are: remove the wheel assemblies from the bag... this is optional but it makes everything a lot easier... drill out the old axles... this is very easy but needs to be gentle so you don't damage the plastic part... push the old axle out with an awl or screwdriver... install the new wheels... tip: it's important that the side of the bearings is tight against the wall of the wheel assembly; otherwise the bearing will spin on the axle and not do its job. I put washers on both ends to make sure the bearing where tight. Install the new axle bolts... Tip: The bolts come with a blue mark on them which is a glue called "thread lock" to prevent the bolt from loosening... I added some more of this glue but I guess this is optional too. Thread lock is expensive but any glue should help to keep them tight... and finally reinstalled the wheel assemblies and bingo... my bag rolls much better than new!... The kit came with two different sizes of axles, 8 bolts, 12 washers, and a couple of allen keys to make installation easy... I was lucky to have access to a drill press but if you don’t have one don’t be discouraged... this is a job well worth the effort. In my case I save my bag for which I paid good money.. I ordered these as replacement wheels for a large Samsonite suitcase. The seller offered several sizes and exact measurements, so I received exactly the right ones. I needed to cut each of the old wheels' axles. This was the hardest part for my bag as the axles were pressed together (one could use a Dremel or other type cut off tool or a hacksaw). I cut away some of the damaged rubber on the original wheels and used some pliers to hold them while I cut them. Other bags might be easier depending on the axle. The new axles were included and both they and the new wheels fit perfectly. I do not know how long these will last but they seem very sturdy. They will be easy to replace in the future as the replacement axles screw together/apart. My bag works and looks like new for a very reasonable price.

Perfect fit for my Samsonite luggage. Check the size of your wheels before buying. This size worked for the 2 front wheels on my luggage. Much higher quality vs the original wheels on my luggage. I’m sure these will out last my luggage

These luggage replacement wheels are fantastic, the bearings make them roll very easily and quietly. The OwnMy wheels are Oh my, good quality and they seem like they are durable and very functional. Pros: Bring life back to my suitcase to last more years. Two different axle lengths gave me more options for better fit. Axel and ball bearings help my suitcase roll properly. Once on should last a long time. I really love the new roll feel and much quieter than my old wheels. Having measureed they fit perfectly once I had my old wheels off. These function even better than my old wheels did. Even supplied two hex keys for installation. Cons: Getting the old wheels off proved to be harder than I thought. Ultimately with any luggage that has riveted wheels like mine did you are going to end up having to hacksaw the old wheels off. No stars removed for this is problem with old suitcase. Yes I'd buy these again and recommend to friends.. Bdv

Bought these to save my Samsonite luggage set, the buil-in plastic wheels just started cracking and fall apart after 8 years of occasional use. I'm a 5'3" woman and I was able to replace the wheels by myself. I bought a hacksaw first on Amazon for $20 and then cut the metal axles of 8 wheels, not all in one go, but each wheel took me from 5-10 min to saw. It's a bit hard but doable. Then replaced the wheels after watching a few videos from YouTube. The process was easy. The tricky part is to keep the second washer from slipping out while trying to align the new axle to the wheel mount, but I figured out that if you put a thin screwdriver through the wheel mount hole and inside the hollow part of the axle it will keep the washer in place and then you can remove it before inserting the screw with the thread glue. My luggage now looks like new and it rolls and spins so much better, without the annoying noise that it was making before. I also took an international flight the day after installing these, and everything went well.

Installed four of these wheels on my neighbors Samsonite 1910 bag. Her bag was in great condition but the factory wheels were breaking apart. I was really impressed with this product. They give you everything to complete the repair, including a longer axle if needed. What I found really nice was that this company had already applied Loctite on the screws to help reduce the possibility of them loosening over time. It worked out so well for her bag that I ended up replacing the wheels on her other two bags that were part of the set. Should last her a long, long time.
