07047 Cool Touch Electric Griddle

I bought this thing atleast 9 years ago and it’s still going strong! I use it every time I make pancakes for the kids. The heating is even throughout, nothing ever burns, I’ve even made bacon and grilled cheese on it. The non stick is still intact and I just wipe it clean with a towel for easy clean up. We’ve brought it camping too and it’s very portable. Takes up about as much space as a sheet pan so not difficult to store.

I love this griddle! I just used it for the first time and it works and cooks like a charm! Even cooking surface and precise temperature control. I made bacon and then a grilled cheese and both came out perfectly thanks to the included guide that shows you what temperature to use for different types of foods. Great size and doesn't take up much room at all. I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to use it again!

I'm new to making the Japanese okonomiyaki. This griddle makes things so much easier, after working with the smallish griddle that came with our stove. I LOVE it! Clean up is a snap... for what little there is to clean up. I've only used it once for the batch of okonomiyakis shown it the photo, but I can see it will be my preferred method of cooking them! I can even become a travelling okonomiyaki specialist now! The only thing that I had to remedy before first use is putting some no-slip pads on each of the four feet. This eliminated a very slight rocking I had noticed, and it now has a very stable grip on the countertop. (I used small squares of camper mounting tape stuck to the bottom of the feet) Probably any kind of foam tape that's only sticky on one side will work. This is a great value for the money!

Tried it the other day for the first time, as with most electrical cookware, had a slight odor when first used. Cooked ok, seems like heat distribution is okay… as the pancakes all cooked up evenly. Heat control seems to be spot on. Excited to use it again. The drip tray is handy, tiny bits of pancake or whatever can be swept into the tray to stop the surface from burning. Cleans well! 10/01/2022 update- this is a fantastic kitchen appliance! I’ve made stir fry on this, scrambled eggs, grilled meats, cooked bacon, made toasted sandwiches!!! Easy to use and clean!! Convenient and will not heat up the entire kitchen like a stove.

I purchased this Griddle to avoid having eggs or pancakes running into each other in a frying pan due to lack of space. I am very happy with my purchase. This griddle is big enough to cook probably 3 or 4 pancakes or 2 or 4 eggs at a time, with bacon on the side and everything spaced out well. The griddle is fairly flat, I keep it in a drawer with other frying pans stacked on top of it. The power cord/temperature controller actually gets inserted into one side so I remove it to make storage easier and just insert it and plug it in for use and it sits right on my counter top as I cook. It heats up very quickly, it has with a temperature knob that you set the actual degree's instead of a high/medium/low setting like a stove but it comes with a little chart that tells you what temperature to used based on different types of food. It provides even and consistent heat and cooks eggs, pancakes, and bacon very well. There is a grease trap for any bacon grease ect. and it is very easy to clean. I just lean it in the sink and wash it with dish soap and soft sponge and it cleans up very easily and quickly. All in all this is a great product. It is reliable, performs well, and is fairly convenient. The only thing I would bring to reviewers attention was I had to buy this for about $36 from a 3rd party seller as it was not available for sale by Amazon or prime and 2 days after I received it I saw it on sale at Macy's for $19.99. Just a memo in case it helps anyone save a few dollars.

I have had two of the larger versions of this product. Each lasted several years. The last one was replaced with this one because it was too big for our needs anymore and I wanted something that would have more storage options being smaller. It works just as well as my prior two versions. Yes there is some uneven cooking but that is easily remedied simply by turning the item. This is a quality value product not a high end product and it works for me.

I love this griddle. It heats up very fast and cooks pancakes evenly. I can cook 2-6 pancakes at one time depending on how large I want them to be. I could probably fit 8 but they would be tiny, super close and you'd have to flip just exactly right to avoid flipping it on another pancake. I am not that good at turning them so usually 4 is comfortable to cook at once. Before I could only cook one at a time in my frying pan and it would take me 45 min. to finish all the batter. I can cook 3 cups of batter, roughly 18-22 pancakes in about 12-15 min. now. The pancakes come out beautifully browned too. Before I use the griddle I spray Pam on the surface, then wipe it off with a paper towel. I then turn on the griddle and let it heat up to 350 degrees. It's ready to go in about 2 minutes or less. The griddle comes with suggested temperature settings for different foods and the pancake setting is between 350-400 degrees. I started with the 350 and it is just right. If it gets a bit too hot even at 350 I can turn the dial down just a tiny bit and it adjusts really fast. I've used it about 4 or 5 times so far and have no complaints except to be careful about spilling batter between the griddle and the handles. It is hard to clean in that little space and this is not the model with removable handles. Let it completely cool off before washing with a soft sponge and mild detergent. It cleans up fast and easily. Cooling off takes less than ten minutes. Just unplug it right after you turn it off and remove the metal heating rod, being careful not to touch it as it will still be very hot. After I wash and dry the griddle I put everything in a plastic bag and seal it up and keep everything together. It fits well on the bottom shelf of my widest pot and pan cabinet. i store it on its side to save space and facing the wall of the shelf so no pots accidentally scrape the non stick surface.

My old griddle was only cooking just where the bottom heating element was. My new Presto griddle provides much more consistent heat, and I can use the whole surface. Excellent product.

Tengo más de 2 años con el y sigue funcionando. Calienta parejo y no se pegaban las cosas por muy buen tiempo. Lo uso del diario para cocinar diferentes platillos a la plancha o asados y para calentar tortillas. Volveré a comprar otro igual más adelante. Fue una excelente compra. Recomendado!!
