I've been a DIYer for over 62 years now since I was 15 as a teenager, now I am 77 years old. The majority of your time is either drilling or screwing hardware items. The screwdriver tips do get worn down. I looked at several of my most popular drivers which happens to be phillips and all were worn down so I decided it was time for a brand new one. I like the features of a magnetic tip, rubber grip handle, and length of shaft. The features of this Kline tool are perfect for my liking. I would recommend you all look at yours also and purchase some new ones. The next upgrade would be the Star drive head which I am trying to completely use up all my philips head screws for this Star drive head hardware. The best benefit of this star head is it will drill into tuff wood all the way down without jumping out of the socket in the screw.
