Great value. This is our church's 2nd purchase of this mic.
Great value! I took a chance and purchased one of these over 3 years ago when the original lapel mic that came with our church's Audio Technica transmitter pack went bad. The pastor wanted a head-worn one instead of the lapel. We didn't want to spend the $300 plus on a name brand mic that he may end up not even liking. Despite being used at least 2x per week and the pastor making adjustments to the fitment of the headset constantly while wearing it we got over 3 years of use from it. We were so impressed that we ordered another one as a replacement. I did the math and even if we got 4 times the use out of a name brand mic buying one of these every 3-4 years will still be a better value. The sound pickup and range seem very good although I don't have any experience with a similar head-worn style mic to compare it too. I'm sure true sound engineers (which I am not one) would notice a difference but for what we need it for (general public speaking) in a small church not accoustically engineered we get good frequency response and low noise and it fits our needs perfectly.

Great Mic!
I use this mic twice weekly and have for months. Itโs mot adjustable so itโs snug (Iโm a big guy), but very secure and the sound is great. When it stops working Iโll buy another. It would last longer, but I use rechargeable batteries and change them every 1-2 uses. Iโve used several mic over the years. For the price, this is my favorite.

Just what we needed.
Works perfectly with our audio technica system. Took the pastor a little bit of time to get used to the way it fit, but it has become comfortable to him and the sound quality is great.

Game changer for those without ear lobes.
I donโt have ear lobes, just connectors. Had one of these for over a year, amazing everything. Cord broke because I was wrapping it. Got a new one today, same great sound and it how has a thicker cord!!

Great value for money.
Good to great sound. Works well for singing. It takes a while to get it to fit comfortably, but it eventually gets there. Value for money, definitely.

Solid audio quality but possibly received defective hardware
UPDATE 5/31/17 :: I emailed chrismicrophones about this issue and they responded back within just a few hours offering to send a replacement free of charge; they said the replacement would be in the mail the next day with delivery expected within 7 days. I will update again once the replacement arrives and we get a chance to check it out, but so far, chrismicrophones definitely gets 5 stars for customer service. ********* Ordered this headset mic three weeks ago for our church. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable for spoken voice; connected to an Audio Technica transmitter & receiver, I found it to be a bit "hotter" than the previous Samson headset that was being used, but a couple quick adjustments on the body pack and the receiver brought the gain under control. Overall, I can hear a subtle difference in tone when directly compared to our more expensive Sennheiser headset (definitely a bit more of a mid-range/boxiness) but once properly eq'd it is a great little headset and the past couple of users have preferred the dual-ear rest design over our other standard one-ear rest headset mic. I really wanted to rate this five stars, but on the third use this past Sunday (May 28) as I picked up the headset the mic "arm" suddenly snapped (picture attached) without any touching or stress - I simply picked it up and the arm broke off. I have reached out to the seller and hope to hear a positive response. I am hoping that I received a dud headset - our mic stays in the pulpit when not in use, which means it has been worn for about 5 hours total in the past three weeks. All of our speakers (myself included) are professionals, trained in tech and mic use, and are very conscientious about putting headsets on and taking them off - it certainly wasn't put under any type of stressful condition. My first thought is that the headset arrived quite tightly folded in a small carrying case and that perhaps somewhere between assembly, packaging, and shipping, the arm had stress placed on it causing a fracture that led to it falling off when picked up this past weekend. The mic wires are still attached and the mic does seem to still function, but repair on the mic arm looks to be a bit difficult. Hopefully the seller will be able to make things right at which point I would gladly move the rating for this headset from 3 to 5 stars.

Volume adjustment is different than for our wired mics - We easily adapted
My wife and I perform as a vocal duo with musical accompaniment for retirement communities in southern Indiana and the Louisville, Kentucky area. She is a guitarist, doubling on keyboard and we use backing tracks. Our PA is a Yamaha Stagepas with its included multichannel mixer. We bought two of these Microdot wireless mics to go with our Audio Technica wireless system. It all integrates very well. With only a few adjustments, mostly volume between the Audio Technica system and the Yamaha mixer our vocals sound great. What seems to work best for us is to put the Audio Technica body pack transmitter volume all the way up and the volume on the receiver at about 9 o'clock. Then we control the overall volume using the mixer. Your mileage may vary depending on how you use them. ;)
