great turntable - does all that is asked of it.The reviews state the functional issues: no lifter for the tone arm and a cramped little speaker. Once you've made peace with those things and buy the product, it doesn't disappoint.Great tracking, nice tone control to manage pitch of the records, and nice range of volume. I went through two of those crosley portables and they were just awful. This one was $50 more, but you get a REAL turntable for that money.No regrets at all on this one.

I like it, hooked it up to my shelf stereo and it sounds great! The onboard speaker is very primitive so I would suggest externals if possible. The overall functionality is good.The only problem is that it didn't come with a warranty card, but come to find out Vestax is out of business. That might explain why some people in this forum have missing items from their boxes, especially warranty cards. And it did come with a software disc, but the software key is missing, which I believe may have been printed on the warranty card or a separate piece of paper that is missing. Now I can't record my tunes :(, I may send it back.

previous to this, one i had the vestax handy trax portable turntable WITHOUT USB and it was about $100 cheaper. The USB doesn't work so great. The quality is low and muffled. It is better to record from the line out (headphones) output. also, it picks up a lot of feedback depending what it's sitting on.

Perfect for digging records....excellent also for casual record listening...love this! soon buying a Raiden fader or Frisk fader for this and i'll have a portable handy vestax scratch machine! no need to buy a QFO now.. if your a digger you need one of these...i own Comlumbia GP3 ...if can't get that the Vestax Handy traxx is the next best thing!

Its sound quality and ease of use make it a standout. Good enough to use as an everyday turntable.

After a rough start with the first unit sent to me not able to properly transmit the sound, the second unit arrived and is great! Best if a more vibrant speaker is hooked up to it. You can put it anywhere, adapts to be transportable quickly and I get eye opening comments when I pull it out. I highly recommend it!

Great sound with the Bose speakers I purchased to go with. This is a great little turntable. I would recommend.

僕は所謂CD世代でレコード扱い方も良くわからないような人間なのですが，母の実家でビートルズをナショナル製のレコードプレイヤーで聴いて，「僕は今まで何を聴いてたのだろう」と衝撃を受けてから自分専用のレコードプレイヤーが欲しいなあと考えていた所このポータブルターンテーブルを見つけました。内蔵スピーカーは敢えて出力弱めにしてあるので，何か物足りないなと思い，ラインアウト端子にケーブルをつなぎテレビの入力端子に突っ込んで聴いたらベース音からストリングスの音から何から聞こえるのでビックリしました。また，付属のEZーROKですが，EPは楽にデジタル化出来るのですが，LPの場合トラック分けは少し面倒なのでＡｕｄａｃｉｔｙなどのフリーソフトを使う必要があります。

Macで、この商品を使っています。手持ちのLP音源を取り込めたので、私としては満足でした。音質は、高望みはもともとしていないので、OKでした。　この手も商品に慣れた方なら、簡単でしょうが、私は少々手こずりましたので、報告させて頂きます。　電源コードを繋がないと、ターンテーブルは回りません。そのコードは、発泡スチロールの凹みに、同じ白い色の紙ボックスに入ってますので、ご注意を。　コントロール用のソフトでMac用のは、CDに入っていません。メーカーのwebsiteで、手違いで入ってないのでDownloadしてね、と書いてあります。これくらい、製品の中に、注意書きを入れて欲しいですね。ペラペラの仕様説明の紙一枚だけです。(もう、この点は改善されたでしょうか？)　入力は、85%位のInputだと、ロックなどは音割れしにくようですが、ピークレベル・メーターがソフト的に画面に出ますので、確認されて下さい。　音源ファイルとCueファイルが作成されます。曲の分割に使われるようですが、トーストでは受け付けてくれず、困っています。但し、この手のソフトに慣れた方には、バカみたいな悩みだと、想像します。　とても軽くて、本当にHandyではあります。
