I picked up this cassette tape aux adapter not expecting much, but it honestly surprised me. Setup was super simple just plug the cord into your phone, pop the cassette into the deck, and you’re good to go. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be, especially for something that works with older car stereos. It’s not perfect you might hear a faint static if you turn it up really loud but for everyday use, it gets the job done. It’s been a lifesaver for my older car since I don’t have Bluetooth. The cord is a decent length and doesn’t feel flimsy, and the cassette itself fits snug without any issues. If you’re looking for an easy, budget-friendly way to play music from your phone in an older vehicle, this is definitely worth it.

The cassette arrived well packed. The unit itself feels sturdy, unlike the flimsy plastic ones I've seen before. The cable and the 3.5mm jack look like they'll last for years. I specifically skipped the battery powered versions. Those tend to die after just a few months, and replacing a built in battery is a hassle. This setup lets me connect to an external Bluetooth receiver instead. If that fails, swapping it out is cheap and easy. A nice design feature is the ridge at the bottom. You can flip the cassette over to change which side the cable exits from. The default exit has no ridge, and flipping it uses the ridge for the other side. This makes it work with any cassette holder in my car. One small note: inserting the adapter leaves the cassette tray slightly open. It didn't cause any playback issues in my car, but it's something to know. The cable length is good for the front dash or reaching the driver and shotgun seat. If you want rear passengers to use it, the cable won't reach. I recommend buying an aux extension for that. Audio quality is spot on. I confirmed stereo output works perfectly, though your car receiver also needs to support stereo. 10/10 purchase. Much better than the radio. loving the Spotify is seamless.

Brought an older car that couldn’t do Bluetooth and this did the trick. Functioned great, plugs in so you never have to worry about battery and I never had any delays between my phone and speakers. Sound quality was decent sure it’ll very on speakers though. Did have an underlying static sound but unsure if that was the tapes fault.

It’s working on my car

Ordered a replacement because I liked the first one so much. With this one, the audio quality is real bad. Peaks and distorts, especially if music is acoustic/stripped down/folk. Dont notice it much with full band distortion music. Not sure why. Just dealing with it though. Maybe I got a lemon.

If your lucky enough to have a car with a cassette player your In luck! Buy a portable CarPlay or android head unit plug this tape in your cassette player and the aux cable from the tape into the portable CarPlay stereo or android tablet and get navigation, music,movies all through your car stereo speakers! It’s an amazing product for people who like me have an older car.

I have an older car with no bluetooth capability. This cassette aux adapter works much better then the Bluetooth device that plugs into the cigarette lighter. There's no static and it sounds great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Bought this almost a year ago & have put this thing through the absolute wringer in my 2005 Lexus RX!!! I have this playing every time I drive anywhere and it has been great, no charging or batteries required, I just keep a dongle for my Iphone on it. It does make a slight clicking sound as the components inside rotate but honestly it's easy to tune out & I'm used to it by now. The sound quality itself is good not great, and I think it has deteriorated a bit over time. Perfect for my needs though and it gets super loud which is nice! Minus one star because I'm back here buying a replacement as my car has randomly decided to start ejecting this thing from the tape deck. Idk if that's an issue with the product or with my car but I guess I'll find out soon! This thing is cheap enough that I don't mind.

This cassette tape lasted me 2 and a half years. It played every car ride and was left in when not in use and it was amazing. It finally died today. So I will be buying another one but for 14 dollars and that much use get the cassette tape! It was reliable and there whenever I needed it.

Was excited to receive this object however I’m not sure if it due to me using a headphone to type c port but the sound quality wasn’t as good as I’d hoped for.
