Be very careful when ordering this item as it has (as of 6-2026) more than one listing with different ASIN numbers. Be sure to read the product information completely as at least one of the numbers links to a 411 gear set instead of a 342. The correct ASIN is B000S6BW4E for the 342 gear set. I received two 411 gear sets before this was figured out. The correct gear set has rolled a acceptable pattern on the coast and drive sides.

Easy going!
Just finished my rear end with these gears. My pinion shim was gone since the last pinion gear welded it to the bearing so I had to Guess at about .029 and it turned out pretty good! Set at around 21 lbs of preload and about .007 of backlash with the original carrier shims. So far so good! Heel and toe were north and south but in the middle of the line so I’m rolling with it. did also used the proper oil for break in of 80w-90! Great buy at a great price
