Great for beginners
I'm so happy that I purchased this microphone kit. I was really unsure about what kind of mic to get to start my podcast. I was told to get a XLR and after doing research I realized that the USB mic was the best way to go. It was extremely easy to use. You simply plug it in and just start recording. FYI I'm using a Macbook Air so I'm not sure how it would work on a windows computer but for apple, I simply used garage band and started recording. I also contemplated on if I wanted to have a guest on my podcast or not but I didn't want to order two of the same mics so I found a second USB mic on Amazon mainly because it can be complicated using 2 usb mics with the same name. (FYI you can record with 2 USB MICS!!!! you have to tweak the input/output settings in garage band) Now lets talk about quality... It was extremely clear!!!!! I thought for this price that the mic would be horrible quality but it was so clear, no static, no weird noises, nothing. I'm so happy with this purchase. I also love the case that it came with. It's not the strongest case in the world but it's strong enough to hold the things you need in it when traveling with your podcast equipment. I ended up taking one layer of the foam out and I was able to add extra things in it like headphones and an extra mic. It's a great price and great quality. It was also delivered really quick and well packaged.

Using professionally and quite happy with it
I upgraded my equipment because I’m doing a lot more voice work, from podcasts to training videos and book trailers. That’s when the weakness of my mic got obvious. My partner cross-country uses a Pyle mic that sounds great, so I looked for his at Amazon but found this one with the goose neck pop screen, which he doesn’t have but occasionally sounds like he should. For the cost this one had a great dynamic range, especially down to 18 where most in this price range bottom at 20 or higher. I’ve used it a couple of weeks now and it’s clear I’m all set. People who know me have commented my sound is cleaner, even warmer. I am surprised by how much it cancels background noise, which makes working with it a lot easier—I can stay in my usual work space with no extra setup. Another surprise: the base is solid and very heavy, quite an upgrade from the plastic legs on my old mic. I have no concerns about that stray tug on a cable or other movements disrupting the mic; it takes both intent and deliberate effort to budge it. Likewise, the stand is heavy metal, thick, and threaded. The goose neck clamps on. I do like the blue light, which is subdued and effective, not distracting. When you don’t need a pop screen, you can use the included foam cover. The USB plug works equally well at all speeds, whatever machine I plug it into (all Windows 10, in my case). The biggest surprise was the carry-case. It’s not heavy-duty, but for storage and portability it’s quite cool. The picture Amazon displays does not show it set up with all the accessories, so I’ll attach a pic. I was looking for a good mic without spending a lot, but I found a great one for half what I would expect, and the free case is a big bonus. This is an easy five stars for quality and value.

Another great product from PYLE!
It comes with hard case for transport which i think pretty neat! Assembly is pretty easy and straight forward, you can use it with pop filter or just plain mic, either way, it does what it supposed to do; to cancel-out background noise and produce clear sound voice. I remember one time when I had a conference call and my colleague asked me to get out of the server room because server noise bugged them, that time I knew I need to do something; then I stumble upon this great product from PYLE. It's USB meaning plug and play, all you need is plug in to your computer and ready to go. I did a quick test via zoom conference, i asked participant to compare the call using my old desktop microphone and PYLE's USB Microphone podcast, the result is outstanding.. using the old microphone, they can hear the server noises.. but when I switched using Pyle Microphone.. it didn't just cancel out noise but it produced crystal clear sound. There's a lot of products that do the same, but why spend more if this product can give you top notch performance?? So far, I've been using this on my daily web conference for weeks now, 0 issue encountered. Im glad I picked the right one from the right manufacturer.

Three stars for the mic itself, one more for the package
I'll be honest. I bought this for the accessories but the mic turned out to be OK. The case isn't something you'd to take on the road, but for home storage seems fine (and looks cool). The shock mount is the standard metal springy type that fits a varaiety of mics (not the 990, though) amd works really well. Windscreen is good. Pop filter is decent. The stand is outstanding (albeit with an odd thread size in the base), with a big but not too big, really heavy base that supports my heviest mic with confidence. The mic itself is a little better than expected. It basically a usb version of nw/bm mics (and has that characteristic *tink* when you bump it. I was just goung to use the shell, but this dosen't have that annoying *fizz* that plagues most of these mics, so it's become musical note taking mic. Setup in a no brainder (even on linux). Background noise rejection is pretty good for a condenser, but it is a condenser. If you're working in a noisy evironmment or really, really bad room you need a dynamic...a better condenser will make is worse. It's by no means a professional quality mic, but it is easy on the ears. Good for online meetings.

Owned it for almost 3 years and it's been fantastic for casual use!
Don't let the name fool you! As much as I am aware that Pyle is usually synonymous to bad quality, this microphone from Pyle is the exception! I have owned this microphone since December, 2022. It's been my main setup for Discord and video games. In the almost 3 years I've owned it, I have had a total of ZERO problems. Not sure how this microphone can compete on a professional level, but at a casual level this thing is fantastic! Picks up my voice no problem and people can hear me crystal clear. For longevity, this thing is perfect! Well worth every penny I spent.

Great Mic for YouTube background Audio
I have a YouTube channel and I needed a mic to record the background narration. I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars so I was looking for a budget microphone. I remembered that Pyle is into audio equipments with budget price. So I was checking their Amazon page and found this new Mic. First I wasn't sure if I should buy this or not then I had faith in Pyle so I brought it. It was very easy for me to set up this microphone. I just simply plugged it into my Windows 10 computer and it was able to pick it up right away. One thing you need to be aware is that when you open your audio recording software make sure you select this microphone from the list instead of other ones you already have. After installing this microphone I'm very surprised with the quality of the mic for this price. It's very much in the same field as PRO expensive mics out there. I really like base in my videos and this got the high base. Pop filter and stand came with the kit so that eliminates the POP sound too. I'm very impressed with the sound quality and would buy Pyle products for my future audio needs. Recommended!

High Quality, Great Sound
I am very impressed with this Pyle mic and kit. The kit I purchased came with the mic (PDMIKT100), a tabletop stand, shock mount, pop filter, USB cable, and carrying case. The setup was super easy, as is expected with a USB mic. My initial impressions are that the quality of the build is superb. The mic and other components are really well-built and solid. I feel very confident that everything will last for quite some time. After testing the audio quality of the mic I am equally impressed. The sound has good rich tones that are great for podcasting and voice-over work. I chose the mic because it has a greater frequency response range than most of the Samson and Blue mics in the same price range and the tabletop kit is a huge money saver. Overall I am very pleased and expect to have many years of good performance from this setup.

A nice microphone undermined by subpar accessories
The microphone itself is good and easy to use and the carrying case is quite nice. Unfortunately, the quality control leaves a lot to be desired. I returned the mic once already because the bottom and top of the post would not thread correctly. The second one I received the base still does not thread properly so the mic is constantly tipping over. This makes what should have been a great product a nightmare to use.

Amazing mic
This is an amazing mic for the price. A small condenser mic using usb A for the connection to the pc. The whole kit comes in a aluminium flight style can and is dismantled and easy to use. The mic is clear and picks up sound amazingly. Reduced bouncing of the higher sounds and distortion of lower sounds. Using the pc software for microphone you can adjust several settings as with most applications. Its ready to use as soon as put together and won't so you wrong. Easy to use, great value, and the sound quality is amazing. Grab one now

Are you a guest for podcasts? Don't bother buying a Yeti, get this!
I am SO glad I found out about this item and read all the reviews. I needed something portable as a podcast guest, and this fits the bill. I'm sure there are more powerful setups to get, but honestly... if your goal is to sound clear and be portable... this is what you need. At the Canadian price, you can buy 1 yeti and maybe a pop filter. OR you can get this mic, pop filter, windsock, shock-absorbing stand AND a carrying case. Do note that you can't control gain or switch kinds of receiving on this (it is one once plugged, set to 'Cardioid' I believe.) but from my perspective, if you're a guest for various podcasts, your job is to have clear audio that they can then mix and make sing. You don't need brand name to make a name for your brand, haha. Everything is solid built. High quality. Don't let the price fool you. It is QUALITY.

Really value for money; the build quality is really impressive!
Bought if from Amazon.SG on 13 March 2020 and got it delivered the following day via Amazon Prime. Was delivered to me in the morning and setting up was so easy. I am very impressed with the build of the microphone stand and really feel that it is truly value for money. Testing out the microphone, I really feel that it is of a very good quality. Sound captured my voice clearly (too clearly in my opinion that it captured the background sounds as well! :P) Nevertheless, I am very impressed with the quality of the microphone.
