The installation was straight forward, worked as expected. I painted the hook and hook lips to match my Jeep color scheme.

This is one heavy duty winch. Used it to pull antique cars onto a Uhaul trailer.

Looks good on my wrangler. Was easy to install. I did direct to battery install since it is my daily driver so I don’t have to worry about any slow battery draw. Haven’t gotten stuck yet so can’t comment on if it will pull me out but did use it to move a large tree branch and it did the job with ease. Seems well built and I like that it has 2 wireless remotes plus the corded control if needed. I will update if I have to use it for recovery.

I purchased this winch based on the number of other purchasers and 4.5 star rating. Boy was that a mistake! 6 monhs after I installed this unit on my car hauler trailer, with a grand total of 5 tugs, the winch gave up on me. I installed a new battery to verify that this was not an issue, had a solar charger on it the entire time, and even rigged the battery to be charging from the truck as it ran, and still nothing. Winch relays would click, but the motor would not kick on. I reach out to RUGCEL directly since thier products have a one year warrenty, explaned the situation, and sent photos of the un-abused winch. All I got back was that the wires appearded to be bad, and I would have to purchase thier new wire/relay/contol box. I asked why this was not covered under the warrenty, and all I get back was it just isint... I have since reached out to Amazon to see if we can rectify the situation, but have yet to hear of an agreeable outcome. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACK AND LOSS OF MONEY. Rugcel will not honnor thier own warrenty should you have an issue. I can share emails sent back and forth should anyone be interested. First photo is right after install, and the others are the ones sent to Rugcel that aparently told them I needed to buy thier new Wire/Relay/Controler kit.

Needed a winch for the trailers seeing this one online ordered it when it arrived I checked it out. Everything was there. It’s a nice piece. It actually works really well. Remote control is awesome.

We ordered this 13500 lb winch to load a skid loader on the trailer when it’s icy, snowy, or just wet. Installation was a little difficult due to a lack of clarifying instructions, but once we figured that out, it worked like a charm! Loaded it 3 times today with no issues! Well worth the money and the shipping arrived exactly as needed.

So far have only used it to tighten the rope to the drum. The operation was smooth and constant. Both hard fit and wireless worked flawlessley ( rotation doesn't line up with indicators but can most likely be remedied by changing leads at battery) overall am very pleased with this, just hope it's longevity will be as impressive.

I got the 13500 and have only had it for a week now and have got to use it 3 times so far. I am pulling trucks up on to a large tilt bed equipment trailer. These trucks are loaded with scrap iron and weigh up to 8000lbs loaded and this winch has absolutely no problem pulling them on the trailer. I'm with everyone else that you do have to wire up the winch when you get it and not sure why they just don't do it before sending it. Everything worked just fine on the install and wiring for me except for the 2 wireless remotes. The remotes did work but the buttons were backwards, as in was out and out was in. The wired controller worked just like was supposed to so I had to take the cover off the control box and switch 2 of the wireless control wires with each other. It was two of the wires right on top, I believe it was the white and yellow from the wireless control box that I swapped places with. If everything was put together before shipping they could test all of this. I'm happy with it so far and if something changes I will try to give a fallow up review.
