Works well on 5 gal food grade bucket from Tractor Supply & Home Depot food grade buckets, but I couldn't get it to attach to orange Hm Depot’s bucket, the rim is thicker. I take my 5 gal bucket w/toilet lid attached to the job site. It makes a great carry around seat, to take rest breaks so I do t have to sit on the ground. The lid secures and keeps my my personal items; water bottle, lunch, wrk gloves, etc secure inside; I keep empty potty bags & camper tissue roll in the bottom of the bucket, just in case. I havent had a need to use it yet, but it will be much better than squatting in the woods waiting for a snake to jump up and bite your backside. Several of the other lady coworkers were anxious to buy toilet lids for their work buckets as well. These are much smaller than a regular toilet seat, but will work. I reserved one start until I see how long it will last before it cracks. I will update my review after i use it for a while.

Great camping item

This is the one! Fits nicely snapping on rim and also has a catch to snap lid closed. This was my second purchase sent the other brand back. I also love the double bags that come with it. I have bought those bags before and feel like when I dispose of them they are well sealed. If it helps my bucket measures 11 3/4 diameter to outer edge. The one I bought from another company did not fit. Don't hesitate on this one. I know there are a million on the market. You don't need a top holder you just need a good fit for your seat. This is a good quality for what it is and should pay for a long time.

Now my wife isn't afraid to go out on the boat.

Bought this to go tent camping but didn't have to use. I don't think it would be sanitary to take the seat off to empty the bag, because I couldn't get it off! This is sturdy but just too tight on the bucket.

Great concept - however, the seat does not fit onto the bucket - rather it 'rests' on top. This makes it quite a precarious exercise to use. Would be sensational if the seat fitted securely.

Snaps on securely to Canadian Tire 5 gallon bucket. Strong enough for a 300lbs person to sit on. Using small scented glad kitchen garbage bags, dollarama zippered bags and poo powder with it. Can probably be installed on a plastic chair for added stability. No more toilet worries with a pop-up privacy shelter. 😄 wish i had it when the kids were little.

I just took this on a camping trip. It was perfect for what we needed. Very strong and secured tightly to the Rona bucket I had. I changed the bags daily, but could have kept them in longer. There was no odour from the bucket. The bags are very strong and seal well. Overall, I’m so glad I bought this.
