Edible Flower Seeds for Planting: 7 Variety Packets: Viola, Calendula, Chamomile, Chives, Bachelor Button, Borage & Nasturtium, Annual & Perennial Edible Flower Seeds Garden Kit by Sustainable Sprout

I bought these after having them recommended by Amazon because of prior seed purchases. The seed packages were so cute that was what initially drew my attention, but the assortment of the flower seeds in this package is what truly sold me. This is the PERFECT assortment of short, medium, and tall edible flowers, and I planted them both in pots, and in a wildflower plot on the East side of our house. I think they sell the seeds by weight, which is a shame because there was an abundance of the smaller seeds, but there were only about 10-15 Nasturtium and Borage seeds in those packs. The great news is that every single seed I planted has sprouted! They came up VERY quickly and are growing extremely fast. Everything in the pots as well as in the wildflower plot. And after just 2 days the Nasturtium leaves are as big as the end of my finger, and the Borage is about as big. The Johnny Jump-Ups are coming up everywhere, and the chives and chamomile are popping, but they were the slowest to sprout. I can honestly say I'm very pleased with my purchase and will be updating this post when they get bigger and flower for photos!

I’ve done a lot of gardening in the past and when I moved to Hawai’i I wanted to continue. We grew nasturtiums back in Colorado and they were my favorite gardening snack and beautiful as well so I ordered this edible flower back because they included nasturtiums. I planted them on my lanai and almost all of them sprouted up fast as heck, within 2-3 days for most and within a week for the rest. My sprouts are now about 6 inches high and I’m very excited to see them once they bloom (as long as I can keep my pesky little kitty from chewing on them). I really like this product. Beautiful flowers that’ll brighten up your day AND you can eat them! :)

Off to a good start so far. This is a good combo of seeds. Generous amount of seeds in each packet. Looking forward to a bunch of healthy plants soon. Will probably update to 5 stars once transplanted and growing!

See my video. They all bloomed in less than 2 months!! I planted the seeds outside in pots in KY on May 15. There has been a lot of rain and two pots blew over and dirt fell out and was scooped back up. I wasn’t sure these would work. But they did and are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Some of the flowers came up and I had excellent germination rates on but some did not come up at all. Excellent germination and growth of: Borage and Nasturtium. All the other seeds performed fairly poorly or didn't germinate at all. Perhaps not the right soil conditions for those other flowers but it was disappointing.

I planted 3 of the 6 seed types after receiving my order. Borage, Chamomile and Calendula. Within a week almost 100% of the seeds germinated. I included photos of the baby seedlings. I did look up tips on how to start each seed type -especially chamomile. It is so tiny & shouldn't be buried. A spray mist worked great and it sprouted in 3 days. There is no reason not to assume the other 3 seed packets won't have as good of a success growing also! Now to keep everything watered and alive!
