From the manufacturer Review: For Those Who Love Maple Syrup - This is called Vanilla Maple, and that is the perfect name for it. It is gently vanilla, and gently maple, not the fake maple but the real stuff. This is my favorite flavor, so I hope it sticks around, even though it probably won't. I'll get as many as I can before it poofs. Burt's Bees flavors are very pleasant. They are also very moisturizing. I have problems with dry lips from an autoimmune disease, and am also sensitive to many chemicals. But I can use Burt's Bees, which I only found out a few months ago. This is so much better than what I was using before, and I have tried several flavors. Vanilla Maple is my favorite, but many others are also delightful. If limited to 1 flavor, however, this is the one I would get. It feels so good, has a wonderful flavor, and is protective against the sun, tho I have not put that to a real test. If I was a sports person, I would probably use something specifically for sun protection. Otherwise, use this! Review: Excellent - Love the product

Don't trust the pictures! Daisy is a cool shade without shimmer, looks natural, and softens lips.
I bought this in Daisy because I saw the color when looking up a different shade on the Burt's Bees website. If I had seen the picture on this page, I never would have purchased it. Daisy isn't shimmery, and it's certainly not a warm red. I'm a Winter--cool-toned, fair skinned, dark brown hair and eyes. Any makeup that isn't a cool shade does not flatter me, to say the least. Even neutrals are too warm. I like my makeup to look natural. I also have constantly dry lips. As I wrote, I bought this because I liked the color on Burt's Bees website. When the lip balm got here, it was so dark that I checked to see if they'd sent the right one. I was unreasonably certain it was going to stain my lips mulberry, and I waited until I wasn't going anywhere to try it on. It's perfect. The color is just a hint darker than my lips, and it softens as well as the clear Burt's bees lip balm I have. I would order more here, but Amazon is out of stock. Instead, I'll be stocking up at the Burt's Bees website.

LOVE THIS
I LOVE the cucumber mint Burt’s Bees lip balm! It’s a true cucumber scent w/a hint of mint. The balm isn’t too hard or too soft. Keeps the dryness away during the winter.

I love lip balms and I can for sure say that ...
I love lip balms and I can for sure say that I love this one. The color was fantastic and subtle, and seemed almost a brighter natural dark pink! It's so hard to describe but it's an amazingly versatile color. I got my friend the same color, and since her lips are significantly lighter than mine you can see the pink more clearly, but it looks just as fantastic, just in a different way! I go through a lot of lip balms because my lips get chapped really easily in the hot, dry weather and tend to flake and crack if I don't apply balm all the time. Recently I wanted to try the tinted ones, even though my lips tend to chap (and when my lips chap you can see the color on the chapped portions more intensely). So I'd been eyeing this one for a while. When I tried it on for the first time I was really surprised with the smooth application and the moisturizing ability! It didn't have that gross and sticky, waxy feel that some chap sticks have and it loved it! Most of the time it moisturizes so well that my lips don't chap and I don't have to worry about how the tint brings out peeling lips, but sometimes it does happen. Before I use this one I just make sure that I've either exfoliated my lips or just layer it with another gloss, cause the color is fantastic by itself as well. Overall, this can definitely be worn as a regular moisturizing lip balm that gives a great tint and I've recommended it to a lot of friends!

nice tinted lip balm
This is a nice colored lip balm. its not extremely shiny like a gloss, and has a nice smooth feel on the lips. Hibiscus is a deep, warm pink that mimics healthy lips, which is why I like it-- I have large, pale lips that chap easily.I am dark blond w pale skin and dark eyes and this is a nice deep pink nude on me. if you are darker, or have more natural color in your lips, Red Dahlia is also a good color, more of a brown red. if you have very chapped or dehydrated lips, use a lip scrub first-- I always use a little bag balm or lanolin on my lips overnight, after I use a lip scrub ( you can also use a wet washcloth). This keeps me from getting flakes that any colored product is just going to exacerbate. Then I use this on days when I want to look healthy and bright without looking like I have make up on. It stays on reasonably well. Definitely a nice addition to gym bag.

Never fails to relieve my lips
I am always in need of lip balm. If my lips dry out, I tend to break out in cold sores and then I suffer for a couple weeks until it heals. Thus, I've gone through a lot of lip balm brands in the search of something that will keep my lips moisturized for long periods of time and feel good while on. I like Burt's Bees lip balm the best of anything I've tried. I like my lips to remain looking natural. The beeswax base allows the lips to be protected but not look or feel so oily. It is solid enough the balm doesn't melt in the tube and start smearing all over when you try to apply in hot weather. I love the touch of peppermint oil that gives a pleasant tingly sort of feeling to the lips, it is refreshing. The balm overall has a light mint scent and flavor, but I don't find it overwhelming or interfering when I want to eat. Usually two applications of balm will last me the entire day. I still experiment with other brands to see if there is something better or less expensive that I can use, but for whatever reason (perhaps ingredients) the other balms make my skin want to break out and I have to go back to using Burt's Bees. It always soothes my lips right away and if I experiment with other balms, I always have to make sure I at least have one tube of Burt's Bees on hand as back-up. Ingredient list of the Burt's Bees lip balm: Beeswax, coconut oil, sunflower oil, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol, lanolin, peppermint oil, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract Stores locally carry this balm for about three dollars per tube, so buying in bulk from Amazon is a good deal.
