So I can hook up 4 sets of speakers on my new Pyle unit all on one receiver without worry of damage? Looked like chart had impedence fall off to 2.4?

Can the speaker connectors take banana plugs as opposed to threading the wires?

there are 2 models of this unit one with all cheaper screw terminals pspvc4 and one with banana sockets pslsw4. they sent me the screw terminals in the banana unit box so i returned it - it was open box so 1/2 price but the cheaper one is 1/2 price the banana type anyway. be sure you get the one you ordered

I don't understand the description. what does the a /b button at each speaker volume control mean? doesn't the speaker pairs selected play together?

The A/B switch permits you to select or deselect speakers by pairs. I have outdoor speakers connected to one of the selectors and can activate them or turn them off with the A/B switch. Potentially I could put a different source to the B side and have a second music outdoors than what is on the A source indoors.
