Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask, 4.2 Ounce

I found this mask while looking through the Amazon FSA/HSA store and decided to give it a shot. For my pictures: Pink Border—Before Mask Green Border—Mask just applied Blue Border—5 minutes drying Yellow Border—After Mask Red Border—Top pic is of my forehead before, Bottom pic is of my forehead after Initial impressions: I like that this product can be used both as an everyday cleanser and as a deep mask. It’s a thick but runny consistency and is easy to apply. The smell is a bit strong and stung my eyes but nothing too bad. The scent reminds me of shampoo. The directions didn’t say to rinse/wash your face before so I applied it on ‘dirty’ skin at night. The consistency as I spread it on my face reminded me of a toothpaste or lotion/sunscreen. Like the bottle states, it has a cooling sensation that gets more intense the longer you wear it. In the recommended five minutes, I did feel the thinner parts of the mask pull at my skin as it dried. To remove, I wet my hands and focused on my cheeks first. I expected it to come off easily but it basically just thinned but continued to spread/smear. It took a few splashes and some rubbing to remove it completely. When I got to my nose and forehead I switched to using a reusable cotton round. I wet that and swiped the product away and that took it off easily. I rubbed at my nose a bit too hard to get the product out of the creases of my nostrils, which is why it’s a bit red in the after pictures. I’m not sure how well it comes across in the pictures, but my skin feels way smoother now! I had a few blemishes and blackheads/whiteheads that were pretty close to the surface that I was scared to pick at (since once I get started I can’t stop and leave my face a bloody mess). They’re not completely gone but I can feel that a lot are gone. And the ones that remain feel closer to the surface than they were before. I’m not going to pick those out but I’m sure they would also come out with some normal exfoliation. After patting my face dry I simple applied some serum face mist and left it at that. My skin feels tighter than before and I still have a lingering refreshing sensation. I can see how overusing this would dry out your skin. If you’re already prone to dryness, I would recommend following up with a very hydrating moisturizer. Overall, I recommend! It’s worth giving a try at least. I’ll continue to post updates as I go through the bottle.

This is my favorite and I have been using this product for over 9 years now. My skin is pretty sensitive and love the fact that it’s both, a cleaner and a mask all in one! If you’re in a rush, you have the option to wash and go but if you have the time.. it’s a great leave in mask for few Minutes and then easily washes off. I personally use this a lot when in the shower and the after feeling ,feels very rejuvenating and clean. Since my skin is sensitive, I find this product more effective and doesn’t irritate my skin. It does give a tingling sensation but I never had any reaction to it. It makes my skin’s appearance looking clean and makes me look more confident and more relaxed. There is no harsh or strong smell. I recommend and also find it worth the price!

I am a boy who is not insanely knowledgeable about skin care products. Though, I have always searched for a face wash that is satisfying to use and shows real effects. This product does exactly that. It leaves my skin feeling the cleanest it ever has. It never leaves my skin feeling irritated. Sometimes, my skin does feel a little dry, but I think this wash does a great job at moisturizing despite this. It is cheaper than many other face washes, especially ones I’ve tried that are a lot worse. My favorite thing about this product is the versatility: use it as a daily facial wash or a deep-cleaning mask. Truly awesome product I will buy for the rest of my life.

This stuff is really really amazing! Makes my face feel fresh, soft, smooth and clean. I use it first thing in the morning and the last thing at night before I go to bed. It keeps my face from breaking out in both whiteheads and blackheads. I got my son to start using it because he was having really bad teenage acne on both his face, neck, chest, back etc. When he first started using it, it pulled everything to the surface. And then he was able to use an acne treatment of sorts which made everything go away, eventually everything dried up, and now he continues to use it to keep everything clean and rarely has any breakouts at all. We will continue to use it as long as they continue, making it.

I use this cleanser/mask only when I need it, and it works great for keeping my skin under control. Sometimes I use it as a regular face wash, and other times I apply a thin layer as a mask when my skin feels congested. On flare‑up areas, I’ll dab a little on, let it dry, and then rinse it off it really helps calm things down and clear the spots faster. It’s strong enough to make a difference but not something I need everyday which makes it perfect for occasional deep cleaning. Overall, it’s a reliable product to have on hand for breakouts or when my skin needs a reset. Pros . Works as both a cleanser and a mask . Helps calm flare‑ups . A little goes a long way The 4.2 oz tube lasts longer than you’d expect. .Cons Can be drying if used too often . Smell is medicinal Not bad, but not a “spa” scent either. 4.5 out of 5 for me

Omg… Ive been searching endlessly for something that would help with my skin texture.. Im soooo happy to say that this is working soooo greattt! My skin is feeling alot smoother and i feel like its taking away some of the dark spots as well.. im sooo thrilled about this.. especially since i recently been going through a hard time so my dieting hasnt been the best.. and with this face wash i havent noticed the negative effects on my face, like i normally would have by now. Will be repurchasing this over and over! Was using hydroboost before for a long time and it never did anything for my texture. Thank you for this great product! Love that its a mask and a cleanser.. just amazing!

I've been using this for years. Its hard to find local and when I do its expensive. Cost on Amazon is way better. The smell is pretty mild and is effective at cleaning my skin
