Brilliant for education
We used this tool to teach a child how turbines work in both wind and water. The child struggled with books and this demonstrated exactly how turbines work.

Perfect teaching aid
This simple device can teach anybody how a wind turbine can produce electricity. Works immediately after a few minutes of assembly.

Nice for kids to see how a turbine works
Good for demo. Fairly delicate so don’t survive that long when kids are using them but cheap enough to replace. Usually last around 10 workshops with 30 kids each having a go.

Blades a little flimsy
It does work if you have a good source of air I.e. a hairdryer. Blades are a little flimsy and would easily snap if knocked but they work.

Great fun.
Well made mini generator. Great fun to see it light up when the wind blows. Worth the money. I mounted it outside on an arch in the garden in an upturned plastic jar. My grandchildren love to watch for the led coming on.

Functions well but not a great design
Functions well once built. Requires soldering together so not really suitable for younger children as adult intervention is required. Wires are very short (approx 8cms) so if you’re looking to conduct a worthwhile science experiment you’ll need extra wire to extend it. Also worth noting the LEDs included are RED not clear, my son used it for a school project to show how we use wind for home energy but all lights inside his model house glow red 😬.

Enfin un générateur qui marche et qui produit assez de courant (rapidement) pour faire fonctionner une led (fournie / et même d'autres). Je désespérais de réussir à trouver le générateur qui me permettrait de faire une expérience réussie d'éolienne (pour des enfants) mais j'ai enfin trouvé ! Les connectiques sont faciles à brancher (précablées), ce qui est pratique et évite d'acheter des mini-connecteurs en plus.

Kleiner windgenerator zum basteln
Einfacher selbsterklärender Zusammenbau . Bei mir funktioniert alles super . Würde sagen bei normalen Wind liegen ca 3 volt und 30 mAh an wenn mein Messgerät richtig misst :)
