really nice not terrible thick cable but there are thinner unless i am confusing 2 different cables....i have bought like 5 different ones but i do recall using these. I do think these were the 2nd thinnest ones.ably were thinner or was it vice versa :/ sorry.Norco cables are crap...you would figure those would work nicely for their cases but no....avoid those if your working in small spaces like the norco 4224 backplane

excellent cable! i found this cable much easier to bend to fit around the metal shell of a supermicro backplane (they make it so hard to reach those 6 x sff-8087 female ports on a 24 bay supermicro backplane BPN-SAS-846A).i love this cable! i also have one running from a raid card, OUT of my chassis, then down to a 2nd chasis so i can run more than the 24 x drive bays in my 4u chassis! great cable!

After I'd ordered this some of my close friends told me the LSI card I have is picky with cables and that it might not work. Luckily it works for me! And very well at that. I have this connecting my LSI 2008 (IT) to the stock SAS backplane on my Dell R710.

Used these in a Dell R710 Server when I upgraded the Raid card to an LSI. Cables worked perfectly and were long enough to reach from the controller at the back up the side of the case and over to the back-plane.Quality is good an and these cables are small diameter so the fit into tight areas well.

There's a reason Monoprice has a solid reputation: they build a solid product at a great price. These SAS cables are no different. The braided sheath looks attractive in a case and helps reduce snagging on other cables. They're working great between my LSI 9211 controller and a SAS backplane in my case.

Works well in Norco cases where the stock cables have length issues getting around norco's own fan card. The norco cables are 1.66 ft where as these are a full meter. Working well in my Norco 4220 case and a Supermicro AOC-SAS2-MV8 controller.

Nothing but smart errors on all drives connected with this cable. The problem followed the cable after changing backplanes, drives, and sata cards. (Error is UDMA_CRC_Error_Count, which indicates bad connection.) Troubleshooting took longer than the return window...
