Absolute life saver. I have a Turtle Beach 420X+ and if you look that up, they are now ancient and obsolete. Yet it is the best headset I have ever owned. In my case, the detachable mic crapped out. This affordable great mic has been helping hold down this headset still to this date. Now i dont think I'll ever replace them, just the mic when needed!

I like this better than the OEM boom.. haven’t heard a complaint about echos or weird static or anything. Good to go. Dropped my TB Ear Force Recon 50x headset and the boom busted at the 3.5mm jack. It worked but was dangling like a loose tooth until this bad boy arrived. Comes with an extra foam boom cover. I recommend a small rubber band to prevent from losing the original. It fits the TB EFR50x no issue. Buy it. Fix it. Send it.

Works good enough for me. It doesn’t like to stay where you put it but you don’t need you lips close to the mic at all. The mic is sensitive and the sound quality according to my online friends is good. I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this product to replace the boom mic of my turtle beach XOFOUR headset, as the original shorted out after 5 years, the TNE turtle beach replacement works as advertised and the bendable part of the mic is actually more adjustable than the original, the sound is good and it doesn't seem to pick up as much background noise that the original did.

The clarity of the mic is great.. but that's about it. With the absolute MOST mic monitoring, it's still way too sensitive. I used this mic to replace my old 420x stealth mic. Unfortunately, this would pick up QUIET sounds from other rooms. So if you're using this for online gaming, everybody is going to be constantly hearing noises coming through your mic. I had to switch to my old mic and just consider this a loss.

Great replacement and sounds good. The boom is more flexible than I would preferred putting the mic farther away from my mouth than I would like but others say they can hear me fine. If your friend complain about your mic, but this one! Your friends will thank you.
