No PFAS or other chemicals and strong enough when using the proper side-to-side technique
I use this now to replace Glide floss. It is the thinnest out of all the non-petroleum-based flosses, but it is somewhat weaker. It is plenty strong when you use the technique of gently going side-to-side (no tension on the floss) between teeth pinch points. After you're past the pinch point, you can apply more pressure to the sides of teeth by increasing the tension of the floss and you're fine. There is enough friction between the pinch points to remove plaque there using this method and avoids breaking floss. BPA, PFAS, etc. today--more acronyms tomorrow for what's considered safe now (polyester, nylon, etc.). Also, it stands to reason that the gum tissue between teeth is very sensitive and highly absorbant, so any chemicals will be readily absorbed into the body. Add repeated long-term exposure and the fact that flossing can make your gums bleed (chemicals possibly being directly routed into the bloodstream), this floss makes the most sense. They do need to work on their quality control, as some batches appear to be weaker than others. Maybe someone will develop spider silk floss soon.

Donโt waste your $! Overly expensive floss that rips and shreds in an unsturdy container
I purchased this floss because I was recently diagnosed with several contact allergies, and this is one of the only flosses that does not contain any of my contact allergens. I really wanted to love this floss because it is much more eco-friendly and sustainable than its competitors. However, this floss is not good. First of all, the floss itself is very thin and prone to tearing with minimal force. My teeth are normally spaced apart, without any especially tight squeezes. And the floss broke after only flossing two teeth! Because the floss is also pretty thin, I felt like it missed bits of food between my teeth that other brands of floss have been able to get. It was especially bad at removing the thin husks from popcorn kernels. Because itโs not very well waxed, it also tended to get caught more easily and I didnโt think it did as good a job removing tartar as other brands Iโve used. I also absolutely hated the container it came in. While I appreciate the fact that cardboard is sustainable, it is just not practical to have a paper container in a damp environment like a bathroom. Plus, the floss kept breaking and I had to keep getting more out with hands that were damp from said flossing, which caused the box to get damp and wilt. The container is also flimsy and not well constructed. On the plus side, this floss is truly unscented and unflavored and did not irritate my sensitive skin. However, because itโs not very effective, very prone to breaking and much more expensive than most drug store varieties, I would not buy this again and would not recommend that anyone else buy it.

Feels like it grabs at the sticky parts where I probably have cavities.
I got this when I found out over 90% of dental floss have โforever chemicalsโ similar to Teflon. (For more info on that, I recommend the movie โDark Watersโ with Mark Ruffalo & Anne Hathaway, super good movie.) This floss does not have those chemicals, so I wonโt accidentally eat anything toxic that my body canโt get rid off. Anyway, this floss is jot at all โsilkyโ, It sticks and grabs in spots where I guess I must have cavities. Sometimes it breaks off in a spot where my tooth is sharp, and a small bit of the floss gets stuck and Iโll have to work the floss in there a 3rd & 4th time to get it out. I like it, though. I use a waterpik and this floss polishes off a log of residue the waterpik misses.

A healthy option but difficult to use
This floss arrived all jumbled in a ball inside a small cardboard dispenser box. I had to fumble with it for a while and throw away about 10 feet of tangled floss before it was usable. Whomever designed the dispenser should rethink the way it works. I was looking for a more natural, vegan-based floss and had hopeful expectations for this product. But it is not at all suitable for me. Firstly, I think dental floss choices are very personal. So, this may be a good choice for someone else but I found that the floss came apart too easily. It got very stringy with multiple strands that got caught in my teeth. It's also too thick for me as I do not have any gaps or significant spaces between my teeth. The positive aspect about this being a safer option from chemical-based flosses is appealing to me. However, it also has to be functional/usable and this floss falls short on that metric.

Not for tightly spaced teeth
Great brand, clean product. I love that itโs in a cardboard type container and does not contain plastic. 4 out of 5 stars because I canโt use it. It doesnโt have enough wax coating to allow it to slide between my teeth. It takes more force than Iโve ever used with any other type of floss or product- so much that it breaks the floss and / or causes my gums to bleed ( which they also have never done before). If they made a new type with more or different wax I would try it again. Beware if your teeth are tightly spaced.

Hard to use and breaks
I bought this after reading concerning news about how PFAS in floss can affect health. Sadly, this floss is nearly unusable. I have little space between my teeth so I usually buy the flat style floss advertised to glide between teeth. Since that floss has PFAS I tried RADIUS as an alternate. This floss is almost impossible to thread between my teeth and itโs broken several times. While other users claim that problem with this floss is due to technique, I donโt think itโs a technique issue in my case. This floss is fine for the few teeth where I have larger gaps, and I believe it would be fine if you have sufficient spacing.

Once excellent, now is crap
If you're wondering about the mixed reviews for this floss, it's because it used to be awesome - exactly the right thickness, grabs food easily from between the teeth, and feels real not synthetic. However the last couple batches I got have been very bad, some too thin and break easily, some too thick and are hard to wedge in between my teeth. The last batch I got was the worst - both too thick it hurts your teeth and also breaks 2-3 times as you try to use it. I'm sad that my old batch is running out because it's excellent in every way whereas the new batch is absolute crap. I don't know where the inconsistency comes from but I can only assume the production process has gone downhill and that you have to judge by what I've seen recently, which would be zero stars. But still I'll give 3 stars for the memory of the best floss there ever was.

Good Product/Poor Packaging
All I can say about this floss is that the product is good, but the packaging sucks! Itโs made of flimsy cardboard so itโs constantly falling apart. Keep scissors handy to cut the floss. Also if it gets wet, forget about the packaging altogether.

Perfect organic floss in totally plastic-free packaging!
This is the best floss I have used. The fibre is soft, non-abrasive and picks up food stuck between teeth very effectively. The length is ample and the paper packaging is novel. Only con is that the paper packaging needs to be handled carefully, otherwise it can get squashed in a travel bag and the string entangled.

Good among silk flosses
Works better than other silk flosses I've tried. There's so much in one that it doesn't seem to ever run out. The wheel of this package could be a bit better though.

Good
I have bought two packs of these now. You get 6x boxes for this one purchase, each box contains 30metres. So 180metres all up. I am chemicaly sensitive so can not have fragrance of any kind. This is the only zero fragrance floss I have found in the past 10years and I tolerate it fine. It is not as strong as plastic fantastic floss but it's a natural product. It will brake if you try to use the same spot twice, so make sure you don't overuse each section of the silk string. Occasionally it will get stuck between a tooth (usually one that has a filling), it helps if once you have it inbetween the teeth that you don't try to pull it up and out the same way, just pull one side of it all the way out between the side of that tooth so there is less chance of it snaging/snapping or ripping. I highly recommend it for anyone with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Or anyone with gums sensitive to all the chemicals in normal floss. I hope this was helpful
