These are quality made connectors. Don't waste your money on a product of lesser quality. I use butt connectors in all sorts of applications and have used a number of other manufacturers connectors. These are well made and come in a nice case that you won't just throw away. Don't buy them because of the case though. Buy them because of the quality and assurance that if you crimp these correctly using the proper gauge wire, you will have a solid connection that should last for as long as you could expect a crimp to hold in the various environments you will be using them in. On top of it all, they sent a follow-up email that was actually written by someone who cares whether or not you like their product. Hence why I am taking the time to write a review. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting your precious time comparing prices and pictures of other connectors. Just add these to the cart and you'll be happy. If I remember correctly, I read a review when looking these up where a person wrote that the inside receiver is too short or shallow. That is not true. As I wrote, if you use the correct gauge wire and tool your connection will be perfect!

These connectors for 10-12 wire work fine. After crimping and heat shrinking I have tried to pull them apart without success, which is what you want. I even sliced off the heat shrink on a test one and the crimping was fine. In my installation I am using these to reduce #10 wire leads to #12 and both sides were crimped well. Overall, a great product.

I love these wire crimps that crimp and seal the connections. You need to have the crimp tool designed for the connectors to ger best results and have more surface area crimped than other types of connectors.

These solderless butt connectors work great for marine applications. I use these for repairs to my trolling motor. You do need a good heat gun to make sure there water tight.

I am in the process of using these for wiring up various 12VDC items and have not actually used them operationally yet. They seem to be a good product and I would purchase again. I had to use a higher heat setting on my Wagner hot air gun that I typically use for thinner, standard heat shrink as the heat shrink used on these connectors is thicker. I consider this a plus.

I found that this product is equally as good as Ancor marine connectors in every respect. Super pleased with the quality, tinned plating, adhesive and heat shrink. Excellent value and will be using this product on all jobs going forward. Excellent value - finally an alternative to Ancor !!!!

This is not for 10g wire. 12g and 14 g yes. These are smaller than the 14 -12 g that I ordered at the same time. I will be returning these. Great price, now I see why

Laying a 13,00 foot 3" Poly Gas Line, with 36" of cover, and placing 10 Gauge Tracer wire along side of it, with locating stations every few hundred feet, for locating the 3" Poly Line at a later date. The Shrink Sleeve 10-12 Gauge Butt Connectors worked like a champ, but for added protection, we also put a longer section of shrink sleeves over each connector. The line is on a Barrier Island in the Gulf of Mexico and everything needs to be protected from a very harsh environment.
