Very well made. Sturdy and durable. Easy key access. Comes with a corregated plastic shelf on bottom to keep mail dry in case of rain accidentally entering. Very pleased with the style.

Got tired of mail thieves stealing my junk mail so opted for a locked box. This mailbox is solid and easy to install. They provided you with 3 keys to ensure you always have a spare available. After using this mailbox for several weeks, I have not experienced any issues with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a secure mailbox.

Random people were parking near my mailbox on a residential street for an extended period of time just sitting in their car before eventually driving off. At the same time, someone in the area reported their mail stolen on the Ring app and ended up getting one of these mailboxes. Thought about getting a PO Box to forward mail and packages to, but in the end went with the Mail Boss. Signed up for informed delivery on the USPS site as well. It's worth the expense to have extra security and peace of mind not having to run out as soon as the mail guy drives by to get the mail. It's been a couple of days and the sketchy people parking near my mail box has suddenly stopped.

I replaced my old mailbox after a couple of mail thefts. I installed the Mail Boss myself. I also purchased the matching steel post for in ground installation. The Installation was easy. I dug a 16 inch diameter hole about 12 inches deep. I set the steel post into the hole, leveled it, and then and filled it with two 50lbs bags of Quikrete fast setting concrete. Added 2 gallons of water and let it harden overnight. The post and Mail Boss are rock solid and do not move. I did not need to fit the steel post over a 4x4 wood post for the deeper 2 ft installation. For my situation, I live in sunny L.A. and freezing rain or snow does not happen here. I am very happy with the results.

This a very easy to install, large, sturdy post box. My complaint is with the wood looking laminate on the box and post. It is ridiculously fragile. After installation, I windexed the box to remove dust from the install process, and shipping packaging. The paper toweling in my hand were three layers thick and my short fingernails putting pressure on the toweling to wipe off dust, (NOT stone dust- harvest dust and styrofoam packing dust) marked the laminate. It now looks like my mailbox was keyed. Oh well. Just be aware and try not to scratch it. HARDER to do on installing the post, which is around dirt, stone, road grit, the shovel, weed whacker, mower etc.
