Legion athletics protein bar is very good, i love the ingredients, chocolate peanut butter isn't that sweet which i like, its not too chewy, and its not too soft like some other protein on the market, and its not hard as a rock like some other ones on the market, i like the macros on these bars as ell, it fits perfect into my daily calorie. i got the chocolate cookie dough, but have not tried that yet. but heard good things about that flavor. also, its not as sweet like other companies, cause they are loaded with sugar, and syrups.this is more of a personal preference tho, i wish/hope legion athletics is planning to release a dairy free version, and more flavors in the near future.highly recommand these bars, ill be purchasing more in the future for as long as amazon, and legion athletics have them. thank you for this awesome product.

I love the flavor and the ingredients are high quality!

The box I ordered again is fresh, great and the best protein bars I’ve ever purchased!I highly recommend them!!!This was my old review:Out of the box these are like bricks, stiff and hard to chew! The solution, unwrap because the wrapper contains foil, put the bar in a paper towel and 10-15 seconds in the microwave.The result is the delicious chocolaty peanut butter bar the creators intended. Soft, pliable and palatable. THEY TASTE GREAT! Stop complaining and warm them up, you’ll love’em!

I’ve been buying these bars on and off for a while now. The taste has always been pretty consistent, and while they aren’t the best tasting bars out there, I’ve found they’re pretty good, especially considering there aren’t a lot of ingredients in it. They are more pricey than most other protein bars but I understand you’re paying for the ingredients and the macro/calorie breakdown.What varies wildly is the texture of the bar. Some are soft as they are clearly meant to be, but sometimes, like this box, the bars are so hard they are practically inedible, and Amazon is funny about replacing food items since they can’t be returned.As mentioned before, when they’re good, they’re good, but buy at your own risk and be prepared to have to jump through hoops to get the item replaced.

I read some reviews before I bought these. That should have tipped me off. The best protein bar? Tastes great? Listen, I've been in the irin game for a very, very long time. I've tried them all. I was hoping with the few good ingredients you can actually pronounce that maybe they would meet expectations. Suspend disbelief, if you will.Let's put it this way: if you wear braces, good luck trying to bite and or chew these blocks. Yes, blocks. Because these protein bars are that hard.As for flavor? These do not taste great. I understand they aren't front loaded with sugar. But Jesus, have some flavor. Until you can fight your way to breaking it down in your mouth, you do get chocolate flavor from the chocolate chips sprinkled in the bar.Now, if you are looking for a protein bar than can also act as a weapon for self defense, this is your go to protein bar.Don't be bamboozled by bells and whistles because they use "healthy" ingredients. They forgot to add flavor and an ability to bite and chew it without breaking a tooth.

When I first tried this protein bar (chocolate peanut butter) I was not blown away. But, I believe this is because I was comparing them to the sweetness of the Clif Power Builder bars.I have eaten the Legion bars for a couple days now and they’ve grown on me immensely. I can safely say they’re now my favorite protein bar, bar none (pun intended).The flavor is understated, yet delicious. It has a much more subtle taste than Clif Bars for example. But it’s just right.Furthermore, the mouth feel is great. They are not lying when they say they are soft and chewy - they are indeed. That’s one of my favorite aspects of the bar - the texture and chewiness of it.Like others have said it also has a great macronutrient profile. You get the same amount of protein for 40 less calories as compared to the Clif Power Builder bar, and these bars are also bigger - so you get to eat more!I’m a fan. I usually eat a protein bar with my lunch, and these will be replacing the Clif Bars.

Too chewy for my liking. Good flavor but the texture is just not for me

It can be so hard to find a good quality protein bar that also tastes good… Well, Legion has done it! The flavor options are great (it was hard to pick one, would love to see a variety pack come out!) but the chocolate peanut butter is right up my alley. I think the price is very reasonable especially also being good quality. The texture was a little harder than I expected based on the look but it was bad at all! I love that these have the added health benefit of 8g of fiber too!! Most protein bars do not have fiber that I see so to squeeze 8g in with 20g protein is top tier!! Will definitely but again and highly recommend!
