6" x 8-1/2" Easel-Backed Recipe Book & Pages

I have had this cookbook for 18 years and it is my all time go to cookbook. Any family favorite recipe goes in this book and it is the most frequently used cookbook in my house. I have been looking for another one to create a vol. 2 for myself and am so glad that I have found one. I am also going to be ordering a 3rd so I can start to create a recipe book for my 8 yr old daughter as she is learning her way around the kitchen. Thanks so much for this product and the refill sheets. The fact that the binder stands up, really sets this product apart and we love the style of the pages too.

Well I just received mine in the mail and I must say its a nice book. Its well made with handy conversions on the tabbed dividers. The easel ability is great, comes in real handy. The only reason I didnt give this 5 stars is that the description is a little deceiving. There are only two plastic covers for the pages, one in front and one in back. They way they describe the book makes me believe that all the pages are covered in plastic, but they are not. When your cooking you can remove the two plastic covers and place them in the book to cover the recipe that you are using at that time, so that is ok, but its not what I expected. All the pages should be in plastic sleeves for protection.

I purchased this recipe book with refill for my future daughter in law. She tells me she absolutely loves it! She has enjoyed filling it with recipes her mother and I have both given her and some she has added on her own. She says it is something she will treasure always. She lie the standing feature. I am very pleased to have given a gift that has earned such praise!

I have been looking for this style of notebook for a very long time to use as a recipe book. This is the perfect style and size but the quality is very poor. The plastic cover will not hold up for wear. I think it will crack or peel over time. I really wish this company would make this style with a quality cover that could be passed down to my son with family recipes, plus I would love to keep one too.

I was surprised with the plastic cover, especially considering the price, but I could have gotten used to it because I really liked the organization of this cookbook. However, I'm sending it back because the plastic was already split at the seam behind the 3 rings, which didn't make me think it would hold up at all.

I wanted this as a shower present for my daughters up coming wedding. There were so many different styles. This was exactly what I had in mind. The fact that the cover bends to make it stand up for easy reading was a plus. It's made of a very sturdy plastic that is washable and will last for years. Very pleased with this book.

This is a really cool recipe book. It exceeded my expectations. There are tabs for each category and there are awesome basics for starters, like me, in each category! I'm in love. I completely forgot about the standing up feature, I had put it out of my mind because I just didn't expect it to work well, but I was surprised again. I was yelling and jumping in the kitchen like a mad lady. Seems to be very durable. I believe I've had this for a couple of months now and it is pretty good! There is even a clear page to protect your recipe from splashes. And the binder itself is made of plastic so you can clean that up too!

I have 2 of these for cooking and soaping recipies and love the convenience of the easel back and smaller size. Would be nice to have different colors or something to differentiate the books. I also have no use for lined inserts, I print my recipies and use half size sheet protectors instead.
