Nostalgic
My 8-year-old son recently gained an interest in yoyoing, which made me nostalgic of being a kid in the 90s and owning various Yomega Fireball yoyos. My older brothers and I loved to practice tricks with them! I assured my son he would enjoy this yoyo, and it didn’t disappoint. It has a smooth drop and retraction, and the plastic feels very durable. This will be a fun toy for him for years to come!

Old Scool Fun that Still Holds Up!
With all the new modern and updated yogos, sometimes it's fun to just go back to the old school basics. This is exactly as I remember it. Super fun to play with, very responsive, and loops easily. The transaxle design is unique in the fact that the string naturally doesn't catch super easily, even with the starburst pattern that's on the inside. So I found if you string it like a normal yoyo, you can actually still manage to pull off more than you would normally with other yoyos of this design/style. If you are more into tighter response and looping, if you double loop the string around the axle, that really turns it into a sweet spot for that method of play. All in all, it brings back really fun memories of my childhood, and by all accounts, it's still a great yoyo to this day. Would highly recommend!

Fun walk down memory lane but the design is aged. Get a ball bearing yoyo

A problem here.
This is a well balanced yo-yo and would be great one for my granddaughter EXCEPT it has come apart twice after a short session. I bought two so I guess I’ll see if the second one will stay together. Sorry I can’t recommend.
