Love
Okay so i know a lot of people are moaning about the decreased quality of the Hunter brand and the increase in price however i love them and i think they are well worth it for the money paid. I am not much of a nature person so they are not going to get very heavy use really, more city wear so i will be very very upset if they do break on me too quickly as other people have described however i don't think they will. The colour is beautiful and a little less purple and more pinky than in the picture. The make is beautiful and well made. i love the buckles on the back rather than on the side and i love that they have the ability to adjust the calf size. I originally brought the original Hunters however they were quite tight on the top and that was just with thin tights so this was a good compromise so i can keep the jeans. They are a little bit stiff when you first pull them on however they do loosen with time. I brought these for quite a bit less than the 80 odd pounds they wanted for them on the Hunter website and they made it very easy to justify buying them now.

Excellent, high quality, reasonably-priced wellington boots. Hunter's are simply the BEST!
These are my first pair of Hunter's, but they will certainly not be my last. Although, at first glance, they might seem quite expensive, you simply cannot put a price on the awesome quality of Hunter's. I have bought numerous wellies over the years, from various shops, including Next, New Look, and online retailers. At an average cost of £30 a pair, they weren't exactly cheap. All of those boots either leaked or split open during snowy weather, and they were also not very well insulated. The moment I slipped on my first pair of Hunter's I felt like Cinderella trying on her glass slipper! They are very smooth and silky, both inside and out, and they keep my feet considerably warmer than any other pair of wellies I've used. Not only do they fulfil the purpose for which they are intended, but they look extremely glamorous and stylish - indeed, I have garnered many a jealous glance from members of the public whilst out and about in my wellington boots. Ladies, you owe it to yourself (and your tootsies) to make the purchase!! Do it now!!

Quality wellies
If the queen uses them then they are good enough for me! I ordered black gloss, classic pair of wellies, very well made, prompt delivery and compared to hunter website they were a bargain. I think the price reflects the quality of purchase, I know I will be wearing these in years to come. They are comfy and true to size. The fleecy socks go with them lovely.

Wellies OK. Delivery service not brilliant
Initial impressions are that the boots are OK. It's too early to comment on wear/leakage/quality though. If they're not up to standard I'll amend my rating accordingly. We used free super saver delivery which, in the past, has been very efficient and therefore I had a nice surprise when I received a text stating my order would be delivered, to my wife's school in the centre of Coventry, 2 days after placing the order. The next text I received from Amazon stated the package had been delivered and put in a safe place; however, this text was sent at one-thirty in the morning! Now, I am not aware of any school being open at one-thirty in the morning...all the schools I know are padlocked shut and it would need to be "the end times" to raise the caretaker from his slumber at that hour! Also, the comment about leaving the package in a safe place in the centre of Coventry @ 01:30h struck me as being something of an oxymoron. However, in all fairness, the package was at reception desk the following day so I guess there was a "safe place" that was sufficiently concealed as to not raise an alarm and alert the bomb squad. Still mystified as to why a delivery company feels it's ok to deliver at one-thirty in the morning..I'm just glad I didn't have it delivered to my home address :-/

Gorgeous boots!
I received these boots on Saturday in time for Lovebox. Ordered with Express Delivery on Friday afternoon about 4.30pm and they arrived in the early morning the next day - very impressed, but just as I'd expect really for the extra charge. (When I ordered Super Saver the week before they didn't arrive at all, so resorted to paying extra). The boots themselves - comfy as promised, and at a great price. The supplier says they are not as glossy as they are supposed to be, however I didn't find this. I tried a pair on in Office and found these were just as glossy if not more. Maybe it was the one pair I got, but I am dead pleased. Regarding sizing - Following research and general advice, I bought my normal size 6 from another supplier in the matt and they were way too big. (Other supplier garden4less.co.uk - comparable pricing, with £3.25 next day delivery charge... Not a great deal of variety but worth having a look. Beware that they do not pay for return postage and it costed me £11.25, so make sure you know your size). There was no ankle support whatsoever and my foot was sliding out when I walked. I would definitely say unless you are going to wear these with 2 or 3 pairs of big woolly socks, to get a size down. My husband also found this. It can be a minefield because of differing calf and ankle sizes, but since mine are quite small I didn't have a problem when I got the 5 instead. The truest size to my ankle and calf were a 4 I found when trying them on in Office. They were a welcome treat at Lovebox, which was muddy and thick with hay and manure in places - but they still looked fabulous. Shall be using them with impunity out in the rain and snow!

The color is beautiful, just as shown in the picture. I purchased the Violet color. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe and I bought size 6 boots. They fit perfectly and are loose enough still to fit thick socks. They came packaged so nicely and would make a really special gift.

These boots are super comfortable and are very cute. I originally had ordered a pair of refined hunter boots, size 8 and the boots were tight around my calves and just small around my feet too. This product has more room and is 10x more comfortable. I suggest the original over the refined unless you have very tiny calves/feet.

I have had this pair of Hunters for going on three years now, and I cannot say enough about them. The biggest testament to their comfort: I walk about 4.5 miles to work each day (round trip) even in the rain/snow, and these boots are just as comfortable on the last mile as they were on the first. There is nothing I do not like about these boots. There are a couple of recommendations I would offer, though. First, this is a British brand, so the sizing against USA is a little different. I am a solid women's US 8 (wear 8.5 in running shoes and can sometimes get away with 7.5 in heels/dress shoes), and I wear the Hunter size 7. PERFECT fit. They fit well with both super thin and super thick socks. Second, I have a few pairs of the Hunter boot socks, and they are warm, but after much consideration I am not sure I would recommend them. They are sewn together like boot liners, not socks, so there are weird seams on the heels and unless you are wearing thick socks in addition to the liners, they are kind of uncomfortable. And thick socks plus the boot socks might be a little too tight. I find that a good sturdy pair of ski socks or hiking boot socks (tall) work the best, especially for my long walks. Lastly, I don't think these boots were made for extremely harsh weather. I had a different pair of Hunters that I first started really wearing during the winter (with the boot socks), and that winter 5 years ago was one of the coldest, snowiest winters my city has ever seen. But I still wore them because it was snowy, slushy, and wet almost every day. When I got them back out in the spring, I noticed the soles were cracked in several places, and water leaked in. I think the brutally cold, snowy winter was the main factor. This hasn't happened with my new boots though because I got a pair of real snow boots.
