These are some really amazing markers. I purchased some name brand ones a year ago (that went dry), for about 20.00. I didn't want to spend that much this time around and also wanted to support small business, so I found silly sticks. I bought them and am really glad I did. They are just as good as the 20.00 name brand ones I bought before. They're bright bold colors, easy to prime (seen a comment about that when I bought them, I am not sure what happened with that lady but mine were easy, I had 2-3 that took a bit longer but it sure didn't ruin the tip) The people are very nice, they wrote me a nice email after purchase. As for the "shadowing" they say may happen when you erase the board. I use baby wipes to erase the board and then a clean dry cloth to wipe it off. There was absolutely no shadowing when using that method. When using only a dry cloth, there was a bit of shadowing but nothing so obvious that one would really notice or complain about. Super happy with these ones and I hope they come out with new colors :). I'm a silly stick customer for life.

My children, husband, and I love these Chalk Markers. This is my second order and this time I ordered two so that my daughters (10 years old and 3 years old) can use whatever color they want without waiting for the other person to be finished with a color. My husband and I love the fact that it doesn't mess up the hands with Chalk dust like traditional chalk and you can wipe it off of any surface (chalkboard, walls, books, faces, hands, etc) with a paper towel or wet wipe and it washed out of clothing easily. It's also easy for toddlers to use (once you remove the cap for them). And hard for them to remove the cap, so they have to come to someone older them to open the cap ensuring that someone knows they are "going to color". I have used this product for a year and just had to purchase more because my 3 year old couldn't put on the cap covers properly (she couldn't snap it on to close it) causing two of them to completely dry out. So always know where the cap covers are and make sure that they are snapped tightly onto the chalk markers. This is a really great product.

These are great. I bought them to use in my classroom. I bought chalkboard shelf liner to but on my cabinets and I write my students sight words on it with these markers. The colors are really bright and fun. When I first bought these the company emailed the first day and wanted to make sure I read the fine print stating that when you use these on chalkboard they can leave a shadow effect when erased. I actually had missed that and really appreciated the company warning me and giving me a chance to cancel my order before it shipped out. The shadow doesn't bother me since I take down the chalkboard shelf liner at the end of the year and start fresh.

These seemed to be perfect. The color was bright and smooth. But a word of warning....these DO NOT wiipe off chalkboards!!! I bought them to use on my chalkboard photo prop that I use with my first grade students every year instead of using regular chalk. The first one came out amazing but when I went to erase her name and age it would not budge! It ruined my board and my first day of school pictures for my students. I do not recommend these to anyone wishing to write on something and remove it after. Very disappointed.

Purchased these at the start of the school year to use on our weekly boards. The process to get the markers primed and ready to go is not unlike many other markers where you need to depress the tip a few times in order to get the ink (chalk in this case) flowing through the tip. The issue I ran into with several of the markers was that the tip did not stand up to this process. Creating a flatter tip on some markers (no longer a bullet tip) than others which is visually noticeable. The color for the most part is very vibrant however does seem to need to be re-primed every week when i go to use the markers otherwise it is a very faint color. Im not sure that I would purchase again just because the boards Im using these on have a lot of writing which does need a bullet tip that can uphold being primed.

These are pretty decent markers for the price -- you get a large assortment of colors in the pack! They didn't smudge and my finished project looks really cool because of these colors. I didn't love the large, rounded tips because it's not as easy to do more detailed writing/design work, I'd personally prefer a chisel-tip -- however, that is just personal preference. I can see how the rounded tip would be better for children or larger projects. Some of the colors are considerably brighter and more vibrant than the others (I had to go over the yellow, pink & green a couple times to get the same effect as one coat of blue or purple) but after a couple coats you can't tell the difference. I used on a regular black chalkboard, not a chalk-painted one. They have held up well on the sign, and wiped off well with a damp cotton cloth.

Purchased these markers with Chalk This Way Childrens Chalkboard Placemats and sent them as a gift. They recipient loved it! She was able to doodle and then wipe clean and start all over again. Not sure if these markers leave ghost images, some do, but I have heard no complaints from the recipient. She is a happy artist who is enjoying the chalk markers bright colors. Very happy it was a hit.

I am a teacher and I am always looking for new ways to engage my students. These are the brightest dry erase markers and are easily removed from smooth surfaces such as laminated sentence strips or boards. They have colors that can be used on dark colored paper just like regular chalk. I can see so many possibilities for art time. I had so much fun trying them out and deciding on ways that I can use them each day with my students. I am going to buy more for my student groups and my little nephews. Love them!!!!
