Curved shower curtain rod
This shower curtain rod was easy to install and very sturdy. Shower curtain slides smoothly across the rod and it looks beautiful. Very happy with this purchase!

Excellent
Love how these work and that I can screw them in place rather most products that tightens into position which just leads to sagging of the bar. Bens keep the curtain from touching as you shower. Good hardware and easy to install.

Mounting brackets don't match bar
The bar it self seems to be of high quality. It is definitely aluminum and will never rust. The mounting brackets appear to be a different type of metal and don't match the look of the bar itself. Also, I had an issue with an incorrectly fitting mounting bracket, but the seller replaced it right away.

Good fit in our vintage mobile home
This fits great in our 1970 mobile home. Amazing how much roomier the shower feels now. Seems strong so far.

Seems to be doing the job
I had this professionally installed as part of a whole bathroom remodel. I'm having zero problems with this curtain rod. I had read other reviewers complaining about the "lump" where the two poles meet, but this really hasn't been an issue- first up, we got the type of curtain hooks that have little rollers, and secondly, the bump is in the middle, and I only need to move the curtain halfway to get in/out of the shower- so I don't see you this is a problem. As far as everything else goes- the rod seems to be doing fine, no signs of rust or any other deterioration. 5 stars, would buy again.
