Q: Why is this not available in white?!?

Wow, you guys are mean. I needed this in White also but at the 15' size. The only one I can find in White is 12' with the flat cord! I bought the 15' with the round cord but it's just too fat for the area so I'm back on the search for this in a 15' flat cord style. Yes it will, it is just a wire. Just beware of the current rating. If you're just using it for travelling to plug in a charger or something then it will work.

Q: Would I be able to connect my power strip to this safely? I currently have a good quality power strip but i hate that the outlet plug sticks out

yes, you could do that, but honestly I am not sure if it might be more cost effective for you to buy a new power strip with flat plug?

Q: Why won't my plug go all the way into the outlet?

The first one I received had the same problem. I returned that one, and the company sent me one that worked.
