Lovely nutty olive oil
I love the flavor profile of this olive oil, it is mild and nutty, a little bit of artichoke. It's good quality and fresh and we buy it a lot. I will say that some of the reviewers who say this is bad quality because of the taste are just confused about olive oil - some types of olive oil ARE smack-you-in-the-face peppery, some are not. There are so many different types olives that can be pressed into oil, sometimes an oil is a blend of varietals, but anyways, the point is - it's not bad olive oil just because they are used to one particular "olive oil" taste. I actually don't like peppery olive oil, but I would never rate an olive oil as low quality or suggest to "try organic" because of that. I have tried organic, I have tried fresh, I've literally been in olive mills all around Provence in early November when the farmers take the olives from their trees and arrive at the mills with truck loads of olives to be freshly pressed into oil for their own private use, not for sale, and tried day old, two day old freshly pressed oil. Different olives taste differently.

Represents the best balance between value and quality
I've bought this brand of olive oil before at the grocery store and consistently the price has always been the best. But equally as important are the following factors that are hard to find in a single brand and that I look for:1) Organic, if possible. This is a tough one if you are trying to get all the factors to mesh in one brand.2) First Cold Pressed- This means that the olive oil is being produced from the first not second or multiple pressings from the same crop. Better end product. Also the process itself must be extracted under cold conditions, no heating involved3) Extra Virgin- This means no chemicals were used in the extraction process and that it has no odor or flavor. It's the best designation an olive oil can have.4) Dark Glass Bottle- This maintains the freshness of the oil so the light doesn't affect its properties. There are other factors but these are the main ones I look for. This brand doesn't disappoint. Highly Recommended

BEST tasting olive oil 🤤🤤🤤, imho, and can't beat the price tag!!!
MY favorite EVOO!!!🙋🏼♀️❤️👌 AND THIS WAS a bargain compared TO Walmart prices per ounce!!!👍 ONLY oil I use, for EVERYTHING!!!❤️ TOTALLY WORTH the price but I'd buy smaller quantity if you DON'T/CAN'T USE it UP. As they'll get stale or even rancid after prolonged storage!! But I highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you use a lot of olive oil often!!! 👌❤️👍 BEST tasting, imho!!!🙋🏼♀️❤️🤤🤤🤤

Good quality for cooking
The quality of this olive oil is very good, however I only use it for cooking, and not as a dressing. I did find however that the price was a bit expensive (per ounce) in comparison to what I’ve paid for this same exact Olive oil at local retailers. Also be aware that this oil is a combination of oils from different regions of Europe, so no two bottles will takes exactly the same. But overall it works for what I use it for.

GREAT OIL
I subscribe to lots of cooking/health channels and after many many reviews decided on this as my “go to” oil! Flavor is great and it lends itself to many different applications in the kitchen. It is a blend; however, it is “first, cold-pressed” which means the initial squeeze without being exposed to heat (that can ruin the flavor & value of the oil). I like it so much that I have it in Amazon’s “subscribe & save”. Give it a go . . . I think you’ll be happy that you did!!!

Love product/Poor shipping
My reorder of a large plastic "bottle" of Colivita (68 oz) came in a crushed box that mangled the top of the top of the "bottle". The Amazon shipping box was so large and poorly packaged that I was lucky the plastic didn't rupture. What is with Amazon shipping? Ridiculously poor quality.
