I've had intermittent trouble with my shoulders for years. There are different PT devices available where you swing balls on a cord to strengthen the shoulder muscles, but for what they were (literally a handle, a cord, and a few balls) these just seemed crazy expensive. That seems to be the rule for any "medical device". One day after happening upon a discussion forum where people were DIYing their own swinging ball exercise devices using jump ropes like these (search online for information - specific specs are easy to find), I thought I'd give making one a try.I've been using one handle of this jump rope to swing a ball daily for few months now. The rope is highly durable and the fastener ends work great to secure a ball. I started out swinging a light pickle ball (which only weighed about an ounce) and have since moved on to a tennis ball (which weighs about two ounces) and all seems great!I'm very pleased with this product, but do wish the handles were a larger diameter - it would be nice if they were thicker like a broom handle. For my specific purpose the handles of these are pretty skinny, although the textured surface works good and I've never lost grip when swinging yet. I have considered swapping the handle of my DIY shoulder exerciser for a nun-chuck handle, but this does seem to be good quality for the low price, and I'm sure as a jump rope this would be awesome.

Good speed jump rope, feels very light. Only issue I ran into was that I had to use bolt cutters to cut the wires shorter. The metal wire was difficult to cut through, but overall it is a decent jump rope.

I was being cheap when I bought this and I find that it is a little flimsy. I am used to my expensive rope, so this was a downgrade for me. I do CrossFit, and perform double unders and cross overs with my rope. It is fine for regular jumping, but I need something better for speed. The bearings are smooth, but the wire / rope itself is not as firm as I would like. The design is nice looking, and the handles and a good length and width. Overall its decent for the cost and works fine for regular jumping.

I jump rope 20 minutes a day with this rope. The rope itself is lightweight while the handles have just the right amount of heft to them. The length is easily adjustable and the screws hold everything tightly in place.

Feels nice but it’s hard to use. Very flimsy.
