Ad says "high lumens". Exactly how many?

Based on the ad, the Model number & color are both called L1000, there is no explicit statement saying "1000 lumens" or "1000 lm", this ad fails to tell us how many Lumens (Unit of luminous flux) this torch puts out. The abbreviation for Lumens is not "L", in fact, it is "lm". The ad could be intentionally designed to be passively misleading, I myself will continue to look elsewhere for a non-misleading product. Buyer Beware!

How many lumens are these?

It doesn't make any actual lumens claim. The MODEL NUMBER is L1000, perhaps a bit misleading. Based on the other flashlights I have, I'd estimate output at 200 to 250 lumens on high.

What’s the waterproof level of this flashlight？

JARDLITE flashlights are fine for a downpour of rain from any angle or just normal getting wet, but don’t take it diving.

Will the l1000 fit flat top 18650 batteries? or button top?

The body is designed for a 26650 cell. You can put a spacer sleeve around an 18650 cell and put that in the light. Some lights come with spacer sleeves, other don't. The sleeves are usually a simple piece of PVC pipe cut to length. The sleeve simple keeps the 18650 cell centered in the space of a 26650 cell. The cell (battery) voltage is the same for an 18650 and 26650. The difference is the capacity. Think a bigger vs. smaller gas tank. FYI: The numbers 18650 and 26650 simply are the diameter of a cell and the length, with a zero added at the end. An 18650 cell is 18 mm in diameter and 65 mm in length. A 26650 cell is 26 mm in diameter and 65 mm in length. The voltages are the same. In general the bigger the diameter, the greater the cell capacity, but that doesn't always hold true. Look for the mAh rating listed on the cell. The bigger the number, the greater capacity, and in theory you should have a longer operating time with the larger capacity cells.
