I got these delivered yesterday & they have given me almost instant relief.I cut each wipe into 4 & use 1/4 on each eye morning & night to make them last longer. They are outrageously expensive, but they are effective.Keep your eye closed while wiping & let it dry before opening. It will sting the skin around the eye but the relief afterwards is worth it.You really feel it working. The bad reviews are by people who have foolishly got the solution in their eyes by incorrect application.I have been using them for 2 days & 20 wipes should last 20 days.I will update when I’ve finished the box. It’s so good to wake up without my eyelids being glued together & feeling scratchy...Hopefully 1 box should do it.Why isn’t this available on the bloody NHS?UPDATE JUNE 2021Although it helped temporarily alleviate the irritation & rash, it would always come back after I stopped using it & it's very expensive.I have cured my rosacea & blepharitis by using a clay & charcoal mud face mask daily for a couple of weeks & leaving on for an hour at a time & washing with a tea tree face wash.Much cheaper & has cured me of a problem I have had for about 3 years.Hope this helps someone.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"L***Z"},"reviewBody":"Seem to be effective, do cause some stinging of the eyes immediately after use but nothing to cause concern. I believe the tea tree oil helps the carbomer gel not to stick to the eyelids and leave a residue. These are way too expensive for what they are.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"3.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"R***R"},"reviewBody":"I was diagnosed by GPs & optometrists as having \"blepharitis\" for ages. Got no relief from products prescribed or suggested by the same, and eventually saw the theories online regarding dermodex leading me to try TTO eyelid wipes for any relief - I was deseperate. However, using these gave me an extremely strong chemical allergy to Oxidised Tea Tree Oil, and also Oxidised Limonene & Oxidised Linalool which are key components of the same. This now makes me extremely allergic to not only TTO, but also ALL (yes I mean absolutely ALL) fragrance/perfume/cologne/parfum/scent/essential oils, ALL flavour/natural flavourings, ALL herbs and spices (whether fresh or dried), NEARLY ALL beverages (all black, white, red & green teas, coffee, oat milk, hot chocolate, beer, wine, champagne, prosecco, almost all spirits), ALL preserved/bottled/pre-prepared vegetables, sauces, condiments & jams, ALL ready meals, takeaway-meals & almost all restaurant meals (all contain some version of the forgoing).... SERIOUSLY, DO NOT USE THIS STUFF TEA TREE OIL & ESSENTIAL OILS ARE INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. GET A GP REFERRAL TO A DERMATOLOGIST/ALLERGIST FOR PATCH TESTING IF YOU THINK YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN AFFECTED BY SIMILAR / IBS / ECZEMA. To better manage blepharitis in the first place, go completely fragrance free in your cosmetics, toiletries, home care, laundry & cleaning products & those of everyone in your household. These expensive wipes were developed to be used at home to supplement professional Optometrist treatment using the stronger Cliradex Complete, usually with an anaesthetic and a brush or sponge mechanism to get the miticial agent deep enough into the eyelash follicles to be effective. Not an easy process and requiring 6/7 visits. Needs supplementing with other treatments such as oral ivermectin and eyelid ointment in severe chronic cases. Unfortunately the NHS does not yet recognise demodex as the major cause of blepharitis and dry eye so your GP will not be able to prescribe the necessary drugs or refer you for treatment.Used on their own these wipes clean well but they are astringent and have to be wiped over the closed eyelids am and pm. As they also evaporate quickly there is just no way the miticide can get into the follicle to do its job. I gave up at Day 50 of the recommended 60 days as a stye developed. I shall go back to using colloidal silver for cleaning, or Natrasan. Tea tree oil itself can be very damaging to the eyes and should not be used.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"L***N"},"reviewBody":"Don't think these are genuine. Her pediatrician and optometrist both prescribed antibiotics drops but were adamant that warm compression is her only options. It's EXTREMELY difficult to get a toddler to sit still with a warm towel applied to their eye! Needless to say those treatments were ineffective and would only drain the cysts temporarily. We've been using Cliradex for 2 months now and her eyes have returned to normal! No more cysts that swell to the size of english peas! Her upper lid had bald patches and are now completely filled out. She no longer has eye irritation and doesn't rub them for minutes at a time!We created a morning and night routine and it's worked well for us and I hope it helps someone else. After cleaning her lids I apply a dime sized squirt of Cliradex. Tap the top gently because it will dispense A LOT! I rub it on my clean fingers to melt the foam, then rub into her lid and lash line until dry. IT WILL CAUSE SLIGHT DISCOMFORT. She told me it hurt the first couple of times but never cried, so it should be tolerable to kids her age and adults. IT IS DRYING. To combat the dryness, I immediately apply unrefined cold pressed coconut oil and massage her eyes for a minute or so. Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Using this in conjunction with the Cliradex have been the holy grail for us! This process took a month of consistency to see improvement before everything was completely gone. I now apply about 3 times a week for maintenance.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"E***K"},"reviewBody":"I buy this product repeatedly. I first found it when it was recommended by my optometrist who specializes in dry eyes. It helps to unclog the oil glands on the lower lid (who knew we had oil glands on our lower lids). When I use it regularly, I can generally avoid getting a new sty on my eyelid. Also, if I haven't been using it regularly and start to get one, sometimes repeatedly using this product will unclog, and resolve the issue. That said it can sting a bit - not in the eye itself, but the tissue immediately around it. It's not doing any harm, but can be a bit uncomfortable. I keep a moist washable cotton pad handy when I use it to wipe the product off, and then rinse gently with water which then removes any stinging sensation.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"G***Y"},"reviewBody":"This product was recommended to me by my eye doctor. Yes, it's true. For me, the pain when applying the first 3 days or so was unbearable so I washed it off immediately afterwards with water. But the reason for chronic blepharitis are demodex mites, and you HAVE to kill them off in order for your skin to get better. Otherwise they will keep eating your face alive and your eyes will always be sore!So get ready for at least a week of intense burning during application - it only lasts 15-20 seconds anyway.THE ONLY REASON IT HURTS SO MUCH IS BECAUSE YOUR SKIN AROUND THE EYES IS FULL WITH TINY INJURIES FROM MITE BURIAL SITES AND BITES! And the only way to get rid of them, yes, is to kill them, by applying this every morning and especially at night (that's when they come out of the pores to mate). After about a 10 days of using this product, I suddenly realized something. Hey, it doesn't even sting anymore! What the...? Sure enough, my skin around the eyes finally got a break from those effing mites and started to repair itself. It is no longer sore and the product no longer stings. Not one bit!I have to say in the beginning, when my eyes were super sore, I also applied a panthenol gel for sensitive skin all over my eyelids and in the corners as well. Those were especially sore. I'm sure this helped heal my skin faster. But even if you don't do that, just be patient, keep on with your regime, use this and maybe even their wipes (which I think are easier to use, but more expensive). It's a process. You won't get better overnight. In fact, demodex go through 14-18 days life cycles, and the eggs can't be killed. So doctors recommend to use this for at least 4 months total to eliminate every trace of demodex around your eyes, even if you get better after just 2 weeks. After 4 months, just a maintenance treatment once a week or so will be enough to keep them at bay.I hope I could help someone else stick with the routine by reading this. At first I was scared to continue using it, because our bodies are trained to recognize anything that induces pain as something that is bad for us. But in this case, it really is worth it!","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"C***E"},"reviewBody":"burns terribly (my eyes are extremely irritated & sensitive) but hopeful it will help the parasites in my eyes. I had a bad case of mites crusting my eyes and interfering with my vision. Checked around, read reviews, and decided to get these. Yes, they’re more expensive than other eye wipes, but they are effective at clearing away the blech infestation. My eyes cleared up in a day or so.The tea tree oil: yes, it does sting. This is strong stuff. But that’s the point. I got used to the sensation after a couple of uses and waited after each wipe before opening my eyes, and everything was fine. I actually got to like it.The wipes are a little small, but there’s more than enough to wipe your eyes, eyebrows, and skin on your face in one go. It’s refreshing, dries fast and does the job. Once the box ran out, I ordered a milder version of tea tree oil wipes, and while those work too, and are a better deal money-wise and don’t burn at all, I prefer these.","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"M***E"},"reviewBody":"****update****I used these nightly for about 40 days straight. I have cut down to once every couple weeks and my eyes are still doing great! Dryness symptoms and white build up have not returned.I would like to start out by saying this is the first time I have reviewed anything on Amazon, or any website ever, and I will list every product I have tried. This maybe long and I do apologize, but I want to document everything I have tried in order to help others rule something out. I feel the need to, because I want to help others like others have helped me with their reviews. I started having really bad dry eyes beginning September 2017. I started waking up with dry eyes stuck together, then it got to the point where my eyes were drying out very badly throughout the day. I had a really bad panic attack, thinking my eyes were going to be like this for the rest of my life, because I had googled everything and figured I had gland dysfunction or something else that has no cure. I read post after post on \"dry eye zone\" and other websites where people are searching for help. Blinking was all I was able to focus on and notice, and studying for school became really difficult. I couldn't wear make up and contacts, which made me even more depressed. The first doctor I went to said he didn't notice any problems with my eyes and sent me home with a sample of Systane eye drops. These didn't help at all. I started Flaxseed and Krill Oil Omega-3 supplements and an eye vitamin, but no noticeable improvements. I went to a second doctor and he diagnosed me with staph blepharitis. He prescribed me two antibiotics, Bacitracin ointment for one month and Moxifloxacin eye drops for 2 weeks. He also recommended Ocusoft lid scrubs. There was a little improvement, but not much. I went to a third doctor, a \"dry-eye specialist.\" He took pictures of my glands and didn't see any issues and basically said the dry eye symptoms I was describing to him didn't match up to what he was seeing, and he didn't see any blepharitis. He prescribed me two weeks of hot compresses. There was a little more improvement, but I still needed drops to get me through the day. I tried Colliodal Silver spray, antibacterial wet wipes, petroleum jelly, castor oil, coconut oil (all things I had read on different websites), none of it worked. I went to my second eye doctor again, desperate for help. He referred me to a 4th doctor. This doctor said he saw a little blepharitis in my eye lashes but didn't know what was causing it. He prescribed me Avenova with Neutrox spray solution twice a day. I started using this on January 10th 2018, but after a few days didn't feel like my eyes were much different, but I used it for a whole 2 weeks, twice a day. I had gotten Cliradex in the mail (which I had put off buying because of the price) and started using them at night before bed, not washing it off and leaving it on my eyes/face over night. Like others have said, they do burn and they did dry out the skin underneath my eye quite a bit, but I started cleansing my face/eyes with alcohol free witch hazel when I wake up to help with the skin irritation. This is my holy grail routine. Cliradex wipe before I go to sleep, alcohol free witch hazel when I wake up (I use thayer's rose petal). I have 7 more Cliradex wipes left, and I have ordered two more boxes because I've read some people saying that they should be used for 6-8 weeks or 60 days, in the case of mites. Not sure if that's what causing my blepharitis/dry eye, but it kind of seems likely to me at this point. I'm hoping I won't have to keep using them for \"maintenance\" because of the price, but if I do, at least I'll have a solution. I'm truly thankful for finding these. I don't need or use any eye drops whatsoever. My eyes are not dry. And like another reviewer said, I don't think about my eyes or blinking. My heart goes out to those who have had to suffer for years and are still suffering <3Aside from my eyes drying out, I would get white \"flurries\" on the tip of my lashes and white build up on the outer corner of my eyes. I have attached a picture, just in case it could help someone.I wish everyone well <3","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0","bestRating":5}},{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"S***S"},"reviewBody":"Hands down the best eye wipes I have found yet. I swear I've spent a small fortune on eyelid cleaning products over the last 5 years, and this one is still the best. But you might ask, why I gave it a four star rating? I did, but with good reason seeing as all their competitors charge $20 a box. I do not like price gouging, and frankly I feel that this company does that. At one point they charged $50 for a box. Thankfully I see them now at $40, and still i think that is ridiculous. I will change my review when they change their price. The wipes are very moist.
