Bumqviy is a brand that has been created to design and produce clothing for the body, mind and spirit. It is based out of Olympia, WA and was founded in 2001 by two friends, one who is a designer and the other who is a yogi. They were looking to create a brand that would cut through the clutter of our culture and provide clothing that was designed to free the individual in both physical and spiritual ways. They wanted to inspire people to live more consciously with each stage of life. That's not to say that they don't provide clothes for the active body either because they do. The idea behind Bumqviy is that it's about being true to oneself, about living an authentic life without fear or shame. The brand has grown over the years into an international company with a wide range of products from clothing to home decor. There are still many people out there who are living in fear and anger, feeling like they have to change themselves in order for others to love them and accept them but with Bumqviy you can be true to yourself without worry. The brand is also involved with yoga communities around the world, providing yoga mats and teacher training programs for those who want to get started in their own practice.
